"With Scrum, teams are self-organized and efficient. There is a sense of ownership and responsibility. Members are committed to the project and they generally have a sense of appreciation and respect towards one another."

As per the above extract, the overall tone of the various books is descriptive.

As an experienced practitioner it is a bit of a slog to get through and so far nothing new or insightful for me but equally nothing seems inaccurate. Hence the mid scoring.

Being a collection of similar methodologies, there's a lot of redundancy when reading these. If you have zero knowledge of these processes, however, then the reinforcement might be helpful to you.
