Another awesome book. So many twists and turns in the plot. I almost like Ziva after this book. Loving the relationships that are forming in the middlemofnall the chaos. Can not wait for the next book. Well done
This is a page turner. I picked up the first book in the series on a whim, boy am I glad I stumbled upon it! I am rooting for both Cass and Mara, all the challenges they face; from heartbreak to jealousy, and devastating loss, their love shines through and it leaves me breathless. Pawns on a game of chess between Gods and Demon King, their love will conquer all, even chance the prophecy foretold long before their birth.
Have you ever picked up a book and felt the character’s emotions as if they were your own? This series gives you all the feels and much much much more.
If you have not read the series, believe me you want to 💯
Okay so 100% honest ... I absolutely abhor Ziva. And for me I would of preferred a POV from pretty much anyone except her. However SJ Doran once again had me aching for anything I can get because I am without a doubt an addict for Mara and Cassius. Ziva is pretty much always doing the wrong thing while believing it’s the right thing and you know what they say “the road to hell is paved with paved with good intentions”. Beware of the cliff because there is still more to come. Mara only proves without a doubt she is a heroine you will want to believe in, not that I ever believed otherwise. Can’t wait for the next one !
Oh! The cliffhanger this book ends on is gonna make you so mad! But only because you’re going to be dying to read the next in the series right away! You know you’re reading a great book when you end up really likening one of the villains. Ziva has been one of my most hated for the last two books, and now, all of a sudden, I actually like her. How the heck did that happen?! These authors are simply amazing. I am so glad I gave the first book a chance because these have quickly moved to my top 5 of all time.
I need more!!!! This series has rode me hard and put me up wet as the expression goes. I love love love Cass and Mara so damn much along with the other characters that have become near and dear to me I cannot freaking wait until the next book.
What a and Cassius are not to be denied. This fantastic voyage through the bells was most engaging. I lost a lot of sleep unable to put this series down.
