This is part of the Indestructible series and they are perfect for my rough and wild children. My daughter in particular liked this book and she had a lot of fun as we discussed all the little creatures on the pretty pages.

A gift to V. at her 2 month check up (and first outside of NICU hospital visit). She immediately took to it, smiling especially at the fly. Great pictures to capture her attention. Wordless gives me opportunity to tell what I like.

No words, and I don't find the art particularly compelling. While I love the concept of an "indestructible" baby book, does it biodegrade? 😬

Still not loving this wordlessness, and again with the cartoonishly-femme eyelashes on some critters (I was somehow less disturbed in this than in Indestructibles Creep! Crawl! , I think because the insects there felt so gratuitous whereas a butterfly and a bee here felt more like cartoon images I'm used to seeing). And randomly deciding to color some critters in ways different from their reality -- like I totally missed the yellow burst in the firefly picture and thought it was a moth 'cause it had this weird pink face and a heart on its back.

Part of the "Indestructibles" line from Workman Publishing--won't rip or tear, 100% washable, perfectly okay for the way babies read--with their hands and mouths. It's not really cloth, it feels more like paper and the illustrations are fantastic and colorful. It's never too early to introduce the love of books into kids. At least that's MY philosophy!

No words, only really cool pictures of things that fly. This book is known as an "indestructible". You can twist it, chew it, and pull on it and it will not tear or break. I loved to picture of the fly the best. Mama would recommend this books for any beginning reader. Indestructibles are on her baby gift list, it's what she likes to give to other moms.
