This is the first time I have read a book on Rap and Hip Hop and the experience has been pure fun and joy. I learned
a lot about the subject matter right from its history down to the different types of rhymes (never knew there could
be so many or there even such types and kinds of ryhmes!). The book never failed to acknowledge the existence of coloquially
delivered lyrics and rhymes and that understanding them should not be taken out of context. Extensive Rap and Hip Hop Dictionary
is a great tool for those who want to learn the art.And because rhymes are still subject to interpretations, the book is a big help
in trying to convey good rap materials by weaving the rhymes right. I had zero knowledge of the Rap and Hip Hop genre but
didn't get lost with the book. It's an easy, light, and good read!
