It doesn't take much to turn people into monsters, into... demons.
Jack Crain lives in a remote Texas town with his wife and young son. Stress has made Jack lash out at his family in the past. When he remembers what he did - what he almost did - it turns his blood to ice.
One day, a strange storm strikes, cutting off the town from the outside world. Dozens of people transform into nightmarish creatures with razor-sharp jaws and claws. In fifteen minutes, the population of Uxbridge is reduced from about twelve hundred to a hundred. Blood flows down the gutters. Corpses and body parts litter the streets.
Jack and his family take shelter with a group of survivors. They fight to stay alive. However, there is something much worse than the creatures lurking in the dark, and time is running out for them. To face it, Jack must face his own fears, his own... demons.

Afifa Ahmad Dec 20, 2021 Five stars "This book has all the things your average horror book should have. Its so underrated it hurts. Not many people read this book, but I can assure its worth the money. I spent the entire day reading it, and finishing it. Yeah, it was that good. I was wondering how the author would turn the story around, but he did, boy he did. It deserves more than five stars, but goodreads wont let me do that"
Kulsum Siddique Nov 15, 2019 Five stars "For the first time, I have read a horror book by a Bangladeshi writer. I finished reading the book within two days. Loved the way he kept the suspense till the end. Especially I admired the part where he linked the horror with the negative human emotion and correlated them. I hope he will write more books in the future."
