Had this one since early childhood. It originally interested me because I was searching for some kind of compendium on bizarre alien encounter cases. Was pretty disappointed to see this also includes aliens from popular fiction. Still, it can be used as an easy reference point for further research. The illustrations referencing actual documented encounters are not accurate with what the witnesses have described, the most obvious example of this is the illustration of the Flatwoods monster, which has a very unique look widely established in pop culture, yet here it is illustrated as some kind of cloaked Dracula-esque alien.

This is a pretty good book. It is ironic because even though aliens do not exist, we seem to know everything about them.-Brian H

A very interesting encyclopedia by Andrew Donkin about Aliens & Space. I love everything about Planets and spaces. Especially Aliens.
