This was only okay at best. I just can't recommend it.
#11 01/29/06 MIDNIGHT HOUR by Mary Saums RATING: 4.5/B+ GENRE/PUB DATE/# OF PGS: Mystery, 2000, 188 pgs CHARACTERS: Willi Taft/back-up session singer TIME/PLACE: 1990's, Nashville, TN COMMENTS: 1st in the Willi Taft series. Willi's passion in music is the blues but in Nashville it's country music that pays the bills. She's had a good run and has made a living but is tiring of the biz. Her new boyfriend is a PI and she's been assisting him. Great characters, nice feel for Nashville & the music business, a plot that kept me guessing until the end.
