I'm not going to finish reading this opus - it would clearly be a waste of time. Just a few quotes to give you a sense of the author's level of thinking:
Wise people bring joy to those around them and receive status and money in return.
All successful leaders were, in the past, fans of bestsellers.
I have never met a poor book lover. After all, they often buy books. And they can't possibly be poor - because they need money to buy lots of books.
Sit up straight and read some manga.
Every single one of these points falls apart under the slightest scrutiny. I have no idea why a Russian publisher decided to translate and release this book, or what audience it's even meant for... Even a teenager would be embarrassed to be offered this as reading material. Hollow, baseless statements that contradict basic common sense, just one lazy stereotype after another. Apparently, if you read quickly, you don't really love books. Moments like this make you realize that you have so much more and better to offer this world - and that if talentless hacks like this aren't ashamed to publish such garbage, then neither should we be.
