A graffiti artist is painting the town — literally — and the prime suspect is that troublemaker Curtis. The only person who knows Curtis is innocent is Joe Talbot, but telling the truth could land Joe in the doghouse!
I think this may have been our quickest Wishbone book yet. I wasn't able to get TH1's thoughts yet so I'll add those later. I rather liked it and feel like I need to go read Kidnapped now because that part of the story was really intriguing, even in Wishbone version. The Wishbone/Joe side of the story was a little humdrum but we'll see what TH1 thought.
my favorite part was when wishbone was out on the camping trip that they had planned.the worst part was when Balfour was sent away with pirate like people from his uncle.my favorite character was wishbone.the worst character was Balfour's uncle.Auryn 9years
Auryn, 16 years old Review: My favorite part was when David Balfour managed to make it back to the estate that rightly belonged to him, with the help of his friend Alan. My least favorite part was when Ebenezer made a deal with the ship captain to kidnap David Balfour. I do not quite understand how the events going on in Wishbone's life relate to the events in the book because they do not remind me of each other at all. I wish that they had found out who it was who had made the graffiti, before the end, but they didn't and now I'll probably never know.

Graffiti is appearing on store windows and everyone suspects Curtis who is always in trouble. Joe Talbot knows Curtis is innocent. But Curtis has never been nice to Joe so should Joe speak up? This situation reminds Wishbone of the renown novel Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson. Exciting and fast paced novel..
