I really enjoyed this book. Read it on kindle, but definitely want to purchase a physical copy to enjoy.

Going to be honest, only read this for the Greek Mythology, not the Roman. VERY informative. Researching for a potential book idea. I've read some other books and was still able to get lots of information I didn't already have.

Picked this up as refresher and background to an upcoming trip to Greece and Rome, it is a well written and organized general overview mostly concentrating on Greek Mythology.

Yes, I read this book just for fun, and it was awesome! This isn't like reading an ordinary school book; it's very fun and creative! It talks about Chaos and the very first deities that came out of Chaos. Then it goes on to talk about the Titans and the Titan war and the war with the Giants, too. It goes in deep to talk about all of the Olympian gods (Hades and Hestia included—they are sometimes not included among the 12 Olympians, but sometimes they are.) There are also detailed description of some of the most famous heroes and monsters. Plus, there may be a few deities/creatures you may have not heard of ;)

If you're doing a school project or, if you're like me and just love to read about the Greek myths for fun, this book is the book to read!

Picked it up randomly after spotting it in a book fair.
Well explained myths, but the sole focus was on the Greek Gods and Goddesses. It's a limited encyclopaedia and one which lacks pictures. The information is plenty, however, and narrated in a way which appeals.

So much repetitive information regarding stories. Could have been slightly condensed
