I write the things I love to read: steamy, fun stories about ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances, smart women and men who aren’t jerks. I like to read about friendships, either close women or a good bromance. I want all the feels: the thrill of a smoldering gaze or the barest brush of fingertips, the shocked gasp at the underhanded villain, the angst of heartbreak, the joy of reunion, and of course, happily ever after!

I enjoy a sneak peek into intriguing groups, whether that be military personnel, medicine, or another culture like Greece. It’s fun to live vicariously and go sailing, diving, or rock climbing. A bit of danger always gets me going, so many of my Romances have a thriller subplot. I also write thrillers with a slow-burn romantic subplot.

I love humor and am partial to witty banter and embarrassing situations! Love is funny sometimes!

I hate to read the same old thing, with only the names and places changed, so my goal is to bring you a fresh, fun, NEW story every time, with NO CLIFFHANGERS!
More than anything, I want a rollicking, great story that I can’t put down, one where love prevails in the end, one that will whisk me away from my own tribulations.

I’m definitely in the minority here.

I quite liked the beginning of this book. But then it seemed to drag and Nicole began to annoy me.
I just felt the story to pages ratio was out. I found myself bored and skimming chunks.
The ending was nice as well. Just too long in the middle.

So I’m parting ways with this series. It’s obviously not for me.

This book has a beautiful, romantic setting in Greece, with such fantastic detail on the culture and history. Sexy as well as smart, with unexpected twists and even some intrigue. The romance is great, but this is also a story about friendship, finding your own way in the world, and mending family ties. All handled with smooth, can't-put-it-down writing and the perfect touches of humor at just the right moments.

oh this is wonderful. A lovely location--GREECE! A feisty, fun main character--Nicole, and a handsome Greek tycoon! I LOVED this.. Writing is just top notch. Witty dialogue. Plot moves right along. Greek words thrown in here and there--just great. The author clearly knows Greece. Even inspired me to rent a Greek movie and google some of the locations! The Greek tourism board should give Ms. Holiday a tip!!! A perfect escape book with wonderful, relatable characters.

Chloe Holiday’s Helios is a romance novel that will steal the hearts of her readers. Straying from the traditional cookie-cutter formula of the romance genre, readers are taken on a complicated journey with Nicole and the captivating CEO, Konstantinos. With beautifully crafted characters and compelling storytelling, readers won’t want to put the book down!

I just loved this, there was nothing dark or deadly going on, it was a beautifully written love story with a few twists. Definitely gave a warm fuzzy feeling, which makes me want to visit Greece and trace Nicole and Konstantino's sightseeing trips. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

A great debut novel, fulfilling the promise of the introductory novella Finders Keepers.
It's a fun, fast-paced, easy read and it's not only the moussaka that's steaming!
Highly recommended.

Everything you could want in a fun romance. Billionaires, an exotic land, foreign customs, and a girl who discovers her own inner strength while finding love at the same time. This is a great book for reading on the beach, relaxing at night, or under the table at a boring meeting at work (maybe not that last one!). We all read stories like this one to escape our own lives for awhile and this write knows how to immerse you in the scenes and customs of a place most of us have never been to, although after reading this novel Greece will have to be part of your bucket list of places to visit.
Still, it isn't enough to just write about a foreign land. If it was we would all be reading travel guides instead of romance novels. The characters are engaging and the plot is fully drawn. I look forward to reading more from this author and so should you.

A sweet story about a girl who is out to prove herself. The story is set in Washington DC and Greece. The story is simple, written in a simple language and moves at a rapid pace with twists and turns.
The characters are realistic and relatable. I loved the secondary characters especially, Kostantinos’s house staff and Sara Ann, Nicole’s best friend. I loved the friendship between Farah and Nicole.
The author has touched a lot on Greek Mythology, Greek customs and also Greek dishes.
As the story proceeded, I really wanted to know what happened next, just could not put it down and finished it in one sitting.
This is the first book that I have read from the author and would love to read more books from her. I loved the story and am waiting for Sara Ann’s story next.

Great love story

This story gave you lots of insight into Greek mythology and what the country was like. Loved the battle between millionaire and small time girl. The main characters prove love conquers all. Great read!

The Greek scenes

I would have liked the elaborate wedding at the end and not just the talk of the wedding. Maybe even talk of a baby. But, all in all it was a good read

Mostly a good story but riddled with errors...

I enjoyed this story picking it up from where Konstantinos views Nicole's marketing campaign recording. Everything before that, in the first 3 chapters, is absurd and riddled with technical errors, plot holes and typos. I nearly dumped the book dozens of times, it was so pathetic. I wish the author had found some other way to begin the story. Nicole continually hears platitudes in her head, taught by her mother, regarding a lady's conduct that would date from the 1800s. Her mother would have been born in the early 1970s so this is another point the book could have done without. I was waiting to hear "Hold an aspirin between your knees and you won't get pregnant."

More latitude taken by the author with lines like...Americans are the worst at geography...She’d be lucky if no one shanked her in the restroom...the oxymoron 'anonymous stranger'...poring instead of pouring. I finally gave up on connotating errors as it was nonstop.

l wanted to see Konstantinos and Nicole overcome their challenges and be together, but it was painful getting there.

I'm a connoisseur of covers. I don't know what happened to the cover for this book, but the cover shown with it does not relate, in any way, to this story. Konstantinos is described as having long, thick eyelashes and heavy dark brows, and is clean shaven. Even when he shaves in the story, he shaves his entire face. So who is on the cover? While he's also extremely attractive, he's not a character from this book. Relevant covers seem to have become a thing of the past. A pity.

I have a couple other books in my Kindle Library from this author, and I may try to read them after my next ARC, hoping there will be less errors and dead weight the story has to overcome.
