I've read a lot of romances, but I can't recall reading one about a single parent. At least until now.

Emily is a lonely, single mother, who spends all of her time taking care of her adorable daughter, Lilly. Ex-military man, Andrew, is a bit of a loner himself, who works as a house painter. When the two of them meet, they're instantly drawn to each other. Red-headed Emily sees a hunk with delicious muscles, and hazel eyed Andrew is drawn to Emily's luscious curves. Things quickly grow heated before Emily gets in over her head, panics and runs away. Left feeling a little confused, and extremely aroused, Andrew isn't about to let that one get away.

Seeing Red is a story with real characters and real situations. Both characters have experienced some kind of hardship in their past. Emily finds it hard to trust and let someone in, while Andrew is dealing with something traumatic that happened to him while in the military. Together, they help heal each other, and once you get to the end of their journey, you can't help but leave with a smile on your face.

Some of my favorite parts of the book were the scenes with Andrew and Lilly. I'm always a sucker for men with babies, and while Lilly is a toddler and not a baby, it was still adorable to read. Andrew was so patient and loving towards her. It's no wonder Emily fell for him!

If you like your romance with some steam, this book has plenty of that. These two can't seem to keep their hands off each other, and Andrew, whew, he's definitely a giver!

Give this one a try. It's a fun, steamy romance, with real characters and writing that is a joy to read. It's definitely the kind of romance I'd like to see more of!
