I was really waiting for this one after I finished Aisha and Ritwick’s story. VJ would keep popping in other books of the saga and we had met Diya in the third book and this book is about Diya and VJ. This book is beautiful inside out, both the cover and the story.
I was hooked to the book the moment I started it and could not keep it down till I finished the book. The characters have been etched beautifully and the back stories explain their actions. They are relatable and the interactions between them are so real. I could understand Diya’s need for independence and VJ’s hatred for her family is understandable. The characters from her previous books also appear in the story and have some role or the other to play in the story, but their roles do not overshadow the roles of the main characters. Diya’s relationship with her parents has been portrayed beautifully and I loved the camaraderie between VJ and his father and uncle.
The language is simple and the story is fast paced and the suspense keeps the pages turning. The twists make the story very interesting. Each chapter begins with some lines from Viraj’s diary and they are beautiful. The feelings of both the characters have been described and the story has points of view of both of them. The story has elements of friendship, love, revenge and family.
Each book of hers ends with something that keeps the reader waiting for the next one, I must give her this, and now I am waiting for Rishi’s story next.

“Love wins in the last, no matter the weight or Intent of hatred.”

Roman poet Virgil wrote "Love conquers all things; let us too surrender to Love." These lines exudes the theme of Sapna’s Story- “Living on the Edge,” Book 4 of Sehgal Saga. I find it the best of all stories in this series as it gives a strong message- “No relationship is all sunshine and butterflies; there are always ups and downs. While some people tend to quit when things get difficult or uncomfortable, the strongest couples communicate and support each other to make it through the roughest of times.”

This is Viraj aka VJ & Diya’s journey of love admist of Family hatred & vengeance of revenge. ACP VJ was bound by his duty to protect his enemy’s daughter Diya Thakur. Diya was the rebellion queen who managed to escape from the claws of her conservative & over protective political family. Destiny played its master stroke to bring VJ & Diya face to face with each other. Diya’s family received threats from an unknown rival & VJ was handed the responsibility of her safety. VJ was reluctant initially but with an ulterior motive agreed to take up the responsibility. Little did he knew that his ulterior motive will be blown out of window & Diya will get into his heart conquering all his hatred & ideas of revenge.

Diya doubted his intentions at first & was reluctant to abide VJ’s norms laid down for her own safety but soon she fell in love with VJ all hook line & sinker. VJ resisted & resisted but finally agreed for a non committed relationship. Little did he know that before the night was over, he would fall in love,” but he knew the fate of their relationship & he was bound by his ulterior motive.

On the other hand Diya was also not as green as grass, she had a secret. She was all set to lay it bare in front of VJ when fate struck a blow & VJ’s motive was revealed. As rightly said “Stab the body and it heals, but injure the heart and the wound lasts a lifetime.” Diya went back to her family closing all the doors of forgiveness for VJ.

“Love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.” VJ left everything behind- His passion, his hatred, his vengeance & went back to the life which he had left long back to seek forgiveness & to get back Diya into his life.

You will love the dramatic twist & turns of events & will get totally immersed into this beautiful verses of Viraj.
VJ outwits all the male & female protagonists that Sapna has written so far & you are bound to fall in love with him. Sapna has penned it so immaculately that doesn’t need any rating for it is an “Artwork.”

LIVING ON THE EDGE
Author: Sapna Bhog
Genre: Romance/New Adult

My rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟/5

Uff, if I could give this book more than 5🌟, I definitely would!

QOTD: I have a question for you all – How’ll you react if you’re betrayed by someone you trusted with all your heart?
Option A: Hear the person out first for closure and then decide what action should be taken.
Option B: Never turn back and move on with your life.

I guess I will choose option A.
Which option will you choose? Do comment 🍂

This was my first read from the author and I absolutely loved it!
The bumpy road which Viraj and Diya went through had me shaken and desperate to know what would happen next!
I’ve read only a few books from Indian authors but this book definitely warmed my heart and sits right on top of my favorites among other Indian-themed books.
The plot is so damn perfect and gripping that you will be sitting on the edge.

Tropes:
-enemies-to-lovers
-forbidden love
-opposites attract
-bodyguard x politician’s daughter
-strong, rebel, and passionate female MC
-handsome, hot, cold and guarded alpha male
-grumpy/sunshine
-age gap
-political and family drama
-royalty/forgotten prince
-witty banter
-FULL OF sexual tension
-steamy

CW: the cold-blooded murder of a parent
If you love reading romances filled with strong-minded characters, revolving around family dynamics and friendships, then I assure you, this book is your candy. You’ll definitely love this book!
Also, this book comes fourth in the Sehgal Family & Friends Saga series but could be read as a standalone.

Another Masterpiece
Living on the Edge by Sapna Bhog takes one step ahead in this series. This book is entirely different from the books in this series, with secrets, twist-turns, and a build-up of tension towards the conclusion.

The novel begins with a bang and manages to astound me until the very end. Every chapter starts with VJ's lines, and as a lover of quotes, it has a special place in my heart.

VJ Bellani is an ACP tasked with protecting Diya, his enemy's daughter. He is a man of few words who keeps many secrets about his life hidden. Diya is a diva in her world and has spent a long time battling for her freedom. Diya's parents now want her to have a bodyguard. They're both seeking weaknesses in each other. Who will be the first to locate it?

I had previously read about both of them in prior novels. The heated arguments between the VJ and Diya are more intense, humorous, and bring this novel to life, and the chemistry is incredible. I like how the author builds VJ's character. Although there are just a few scenes between the friends, the plot is so intriguing that it kept my attention on current events. The finale, which surprised me, is the best part of the novel. There are a lot of new characters, yet it doesn't feel overwhelming. VJ and Diya as a pair have my heart.

Sapna Bhog writes her works in simple and lucid language while maintaining the book's attractiveness. I'm excited to read Rishi's book now.

I am actually hungover by this again! Writing this review, lead to an another read after a year! I liked them even in the previous books and now drooling! The duo, hands down, is my favourite in the entire series!

Review:
* Steamy Romance
* Attractive Duo
* Edging Narrative
* Not Dark but with Twists
* Desired HEA

-----!!!!!Spoilers alert!!!!!-----

He was one of the best policemen in the city, yet forced to be her bodyguard. It was enemity at first sight. He wanted truce, so they can be friends, but their attraction won. What was supposed to be just another job turned out to be more. ACP VJ Bellani is the head of the team to combat drug trafficking and personally, is a man with secrets and hidden talents or identity! You heard me right! Viraj Jaisinghania Bellani is our hot and handsome royal prince!

She was an independent entrepreneur from a big political family with a secret weapon as her bargain for freedom. Thus hated the idea of the bodyguard and him. Diya Thakur is a fashion designer with excellent skills and no nonsense attitude and she gives her said bodyguard, a hard time, despite her attraction. Eventually Tables turn when she realises the facts and truth about him! She distances herself from him after the revelations but destiny has other plans!

Between their enemity, lust, secrets, possession and love, you are in for a rollercoaster! and the sexual tension is mindblowing!

A steamy romantic HEA, for you guys to give a read for free. Don't miss Janak in the epilogue!

Special credit : Viraj's writings in Every chapter is commendable

When Sapna ma'am writes there's an assumed statement that the book is going to have some really strong and bold character, with a gripping narration and storyline and hell lot surprises and this book has definitely held the bars rather more high than usual.
.
The book revolves around VJ, a man of his words, a sharp-minded person who is always ready to face the difficult situation and Diya, a political members daughter, who is ambitious, smart and a bundle of surprises.
The story begins with VJ appointed as a bodyguard for Diya's safety who is getting death threats due to her family background.
.
The characters hating each other to falling in love, and the fact that there's so many secrets Diya has not been told makes it a very gripping read.
.
The best part about the Sehgal series is the character and position they hold and how aptly the author maintains the continuity amazes me always.
.
The page turning incidents are indeed the highlight of the book which keeps the reader hooked till the end.
.
Especially the language and narration of the book makes you so much anticipated that you just read it with ease and flow.
.
The quotes at the beginning were just wonderful and thoughtful.
.
Overall a great read with some beautiful thoughts ♥️♥️

Finally the book four in the series is out and I was so much excited to read it. People who already have read the series understand my anticipation but for people who don't know, this is such an amazing part of the series. Honestly, the best thing about Bhog's books is they can even be read as standalones and even this would do wonders even as a standalone. The story is so well built but I feel this time she tried something different, she also added more of drama, thrill, secrets and spicy characters.
.
Book about cops are fun but the way she built the protagonist was really fun to read, I loved the slow burn romance, I love she bought both the characters togethers. Yes it has drama as well as romance.
.
The story is filled with twists and turns and the book suprised me because it really stands out in terms of narration and storyline. I totally enjoyed it.

Enemies to lovers❤️❤️

VJ has been an essential part since book 1.. the mysterious cop who has a closet full of secrets and the mysteries are about to be unleashed.
What happens when he has to become bodyguard to his enemies daughter?? And the cherry on top is the attraction and hot chemistry they share.
Diya has lost a lot in her life in the hands of her close ones. Trust doesn't come easy for her but will she be able to open up to VJ based on the attraction??
What will happen when the secrets from past resurface?
It's one of the best romantic thriller, enemies to lovers romance.
This is one of the books... I hated Diya in the beginning because of her bitchy character but as the story goes on you can't help but love her.
A flawless read😁.
Couldn't get enough of Kabier and Keya😍.

MY TAKE🧡:
*
Being a Sejal Saga fan, I knew I was putting my hands into something unbelievably fabulous. This book is about Diya, a rebellious fashion designer whose life is on Steak and VJ bellani, a man with a lot of Secrets. I loved this book so so much. It was almost like watching a bollywood movie❤. -Sapna never disappointed me, I've been in love with Sapna's writing since this year started. Her stories are not one of those classic old romance stories, they almost cover every millennial problems. •

🌸Why you should go for this book:
*
- It has a lot of twist and Mystery to it. *
-You'll totally resonate with the characters.
*
-Fantastic narration. *
-You will be never disappointed by her writing.
*
-Perfectly blended Romance. *

EXPLOSIVE MISADVENTURES

I adored Mizz Sapna Book 3 if this series & I didn't think she could top it!! I was soooo wrong & not inky dud she Knocks Me Over the Head with her Bodyguard in disguise & sassy, sexy & sexy Spoiled Princess Fashion Designer. They become 24/7 roomies, threats are made, a stalker is a foot, gunshots are fired, their touched become erupted into lightening through one another bodies, Evil relatives are a plenty, HILARIOUS dialogue plus situations & long lost mysteries are in the shadows. So many turns, pot holes & gutters are twisted by Mizz Sapna that this romance became new new obsession!! Mizz Sapna earned my top score if 5 fingers up & 10 toes plus I'm have to add snorting soda, nails to the cuticle & almost peering my pants.

the plot was so predictable, and the MCs are just too "obsessed" with each other? it makes no sense when you think about it, they argue 24/7 at the start of the relationship, suddenly confess their "attraction" and the next moment they're sleeping with each other... wHAT
the pregnancy trope was dumb but ok...
ugh anyways, Diya didn't let VJ grovel AT ALL, for all the cries and lies she kept ranting about, once Viraj was in her sight, she forgot everything (don't even get me started on the marriage...)
honestly this book was okay-ish because the characters weren't so terrible
Viraj was a good mc, but sometimes all Diya did was rant, rant and rant
overall, everything is just OK, not too good imo (i give this 2.75/5)

It was a bit different form the former sehgal series novels and was refreshing. I was able to relate myself with Diya , her attitude and the rebellious nature. Sapna is a amazing and wonderful author. Her stories are relatable, not like those cringey Indian serial type.

VJ and Diya are 🔥 and their fights were absolutely adorable.
I was laughing like a mad woman when Aisha was about to hit VJ thinking him to a conman .
I really enjoyed it .

My obsession with this series is seriously making me insane, I’m literally loving each and every hero😻😻😻😻
I did enjoyed this one a-lot and Diya was just fantastic she was that perfect girl next door. And don’t get me started with VJ, but I loved him more as the prince of Devigarh than inspector VJ Belani (I think he was useless as inspector as he couldn’t solve the cases he was assigned 🙃🙃) but his transformation was just superb.
And although I liked this story but this series could have done it without this book in it. Would have been better if this one a spin-off to Sehgal family and friends saga because I was missing the Sehgal family soo much in this one🙁🙁.
