Believing her psychotic ex-husband to be dead, Anne Barnhart finally feels safe and starts a new life with her deaf daughter, Lindsay, but she is stalked by a homicidal maniac. Original.
This book could have been better than it was. The thing that really did not run true was the fact that Anne Barnhart's friend's recently killed fiance falls in love with Anne so quickly. It was good in that there were twists and turns in the plot, so that the reader found out that what he or she believed about various characters wasn't true. There is suspension of disbelief. I'll be interested to read the comments made by others.
