I wanted to like this book. I really wanted to like this book, especially since it is by a new indie author and I go out of my way to support indie authors. But the disappointing part is that the book needed more time for revision and editing before its release.
The horror aspects are also not scary and often readers are spoiled early on what happens in the story before it begins, and things happen in the book that don’t make sense from a logical perspective either. All the stories featured in the book have faulty writing and plot mechanics and lack of suspense, and it is further proof the book needed to be looked at more before being published. Despite an editor being credited, it looks like there was barely any editing and proofreading done at all.
Once again, I wanted to like this book. But in its current state, the horror/plot plot elements in the stories and the poor mechanics keep it from being a recommendation. I hope the author realizes this and works on a revised version, or creates a new book that shows off massive improvements to the writing style.

Not a bad collection of short stories. Could use some editing and touch-ups, but for the most part I enjoyed reading through this. Not all the stories were for me, but I appreciated the variety in them and the creativity of the author!
