A pop-up book shows what happens when siblings are allowed to cook for one another and hides among the more typical pizza ingredients several less appetizing ones
I got this book the first year I started teaching. I have read it for my students for the first time just before lunch when we would be having pizza. It ALWAYS gets quite the response. Students love to guess what Sam has hidden, as well as the rhyming meter of the book. Sam thinks his has the best of his sister, but wow do you students love the twist in the end.
This book is packaged cutely, but incredibly disgusting to read. Though it's an older book, I'm sure kids would enjoy it (I just don't think I could be the one to read it to them).
My kids LOVE this book. It's gross in the best way. Their grandparent's hate reading it to them, which always makes me chuckle and makes this book even more entertaining.
