The National Investigations Committee On Aerial Phenomena (NICAP) was an unidentified flying object (UFO) research group most active in the United States from the 1950s to the 1980s. It remains active primarily as an informational depository on the UFO phenomenon. The UFO Investigator was established in 1957 as the official publication of the NICAP, Washington National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena [NICAP]. Iwas a quarterly periodical printed in a Quarto, folded wrappers, newspaper format, 8 pp. However, some rare issues have 32 pages.
