Laylah loves reading, but she particularly loves a good romance with some seriously alpha men. Protective, possessive men with large hearts. Writing has become her passion and she hopes her readers enjoy her stories as much as she does writing them.

Loved this addition to this series. This one is super sweet. There is no angst or OW/OM drama. The couple starts off together and stays together the entire book. Like I said sweet...

I had a problem with this book from the get go. There are just things that piss me off every single time and when I come across one of them the rating takes a dive even if the rest of the book is good. And this was the case with Sinfully Yours, Sir. I hate, hate, hate when the girl says "no" numerous times when secretly she want to hero to keep asking. This is one of the reasons why men just don't believe that we mean what we say and it creates all sorts of problems in RL. Even if it's something rather harmless like someone who keeps buggering you after repeatedly being told "it won't happen, so stop asking". How are we going to teach people to respect us if they're blasted from all around with examples like this one? And what does it say for the male lead that after being told "no" 5 times he keeps asking? Doesn't he have any self respect if nothing else? I'm not saying that persistence is a bad thing but there's a line between being persistent and being a creep. Sure, the heroine wanted his attention but what if she really meant it? What about respecting others' desires? This single revelation destroyed an otherwise enjoyable book for me. Maybe I'm overly sensitive but as someone who is currently trying to explain to a guy that I'm not interested for the umptieth time, this hit all the wrong buttons.

Actually 3.5 stars

Dom Dylan and sub Tilly have just started a relationship, when she gets a call from an old friend and goes rushing headlong into danger to try to save her from mobsters. Tilly is sweet and caring, but lacks common sense about her limitations -- she's a normal woman, not a vampire slayer or a Navy SEAL, so trying to go off on her own is not a smart decision. Thankfully, she has Dylan to rein her in and help her find her friend.

I admire Roberts attempt to step out of her comfort zone and go for a more complicated plot including new characters and locations. I like Dylan's old friends, but it seems like this is either a crossover with another series, or the start of a spin-off, since the other characters take up a lot of time, sometimes overshadowing our main couple. Still, it's a good book and worth a read.

Dylan and Tilly
Tilly is a kind and resilient woman who has endured unimaginable trauma. Her ex was a despicable man—emotionally abusive and deeply involved in criminal activities. Though his imprisonment, and eventual death in prison, seemed to finally free her, she quickly learns that the past doesn’t always stay buried.
Dylan has his own troubled history. As a teenager, he made some reckless decisions, one of which tragically led to the death of one of his best friends. That event changed him forever. Joining the military allowed him to turn his life around, and now, as the manager of Club Decadence, he feels he has his life together—except when it comes to Tilly. From the moment she entered the club two years ago, she’s had his full attention, though his nerves have him acting like a fool around her.
When Tilly’s past resurfaces, pulling her back toward a life she thought she had left behind, Dylan will stop at nothing to protect her.
I absolutely loved this story. Both Dylan and Tilly felt realistic and authentic, their past struggles shaping them into the complex, compelling characters we meet at the start of the book. Watching their journey unfold was truly satisfying!

The manager and the waitress

Tilly is a sweet girl who's lost her mom young and was raised by her father along 4 brothers. Very young she falls into a very toxic and abusive relationship but manages to get out of it and push through to find peace in a new place where she discovers bdsm and builds new friendships. The manager of the BDSM club she works at part time and frequents is an ex marine, who had his eyes on her since the first time they met but knowing about her past through hearsay doesn't want to come too strong too soon and scare her away; so he goes slowly. However is it too slowly, or it doesn't even matter because Tully has suffered too much to be able to open up again?!

After finally agreeing to go on a date with Dylan, Tilly lets her insecurities from her ex show, which Dylan quickly reassures her that he doesn’t want her talking negatively about herself and that he wants her every night, but, knows that would have scared her and didn’t want to risk losing her.
Dylan knew that Tilly was the one for him, so when she gets a call that her friend needs help he doesn’t hesitate to help her. Although it involves gangs and a mob boss, she knows Dylan will keep her safe.
Dylan and Tilly have great chemistry and Tilly gains her confidence back about herself, learns to trust, and becomes a stronger woman, all with the help and patience that Dylan gives her.

Okay, but not great. Although I admire Tilly for trying to protect her friend and such, I just didn't connect with her character very well. And I couldn't believe how many times she tried to just jump into action in situations that were way over her head. Dylan, on the other hand, was delightful; and I really enjoyed the glimpse into his past. (I'm expecting to see future stories centered on the other two guys in his youthful trio.) But I didn't see much of a relationship developing between Tilly and Dylan, which is often the most fun of the tale for me.

Really enjoyed the story - great pace throughout and kept me reading. The reason I gave three stars is because I have read the series up to this book and each book needs an editor - lots of missing words in a sentence, as well as use of incorrect words and character names that change. This makes it hard to read the story and as the series continues more frustrating, which makes the reading experience less enjoyable. The author is very talented, however I probably won’t continue with series after this book as it feels like I’m reading a draft rather than a finished product.

BDSM romance with a twist of thriller

No plot spoilers
No real potential triggers
There are a lot of grammatical and editorial errors but not enough to kill the book although they are totally irritating.
There are some sex scenes, BDSM in nature but nothing heavy. There is a little swearing.
The characterisation is good enough to draw you in and the plotline is engaging and written well enough to keep you turning the pages.
It's an escape from reality for a few hours and if you are a fan of the genre you should enjoy the book.

This is #2 for me

The Sir series seem to be strong men women who have a problem and others who can help. The settings are always different which opens the stories up. I like Laylah's writing with the country in a mess I think we whent a strong honest person at our backs as we all face the problems that seem unsermountable at this time. Laylah s books help us dream of men and women who have found that hope, love, and strength out in the either of a dream.

Sinfully yours sir

I h ave read this book for the third time and forgot that I had not left a review. I love how Dylan kept asking Fully out giving her the time she needs to say yes. Fully came from an emotionally abusing relationship and needed time to heal. Dylan took over when she insisted on going to find her friend in trouble. After helping Fully save her friend Dylan takes her Home to heal her rift with them. There are scenes of bdsm in them but tastefully done.

Dylan and Tlly are so good together. He's so caring, protective and so loving towards her. She is loyal, steadfast and adorable. They've played the flirtation game and she finally agrees to a date. From there they set off on a mission to rescue her best friend. They encounter danger and betrayal but help her friend.

I started really good but after the phone call from the friend, it just went downhill.
In the book, there should be more written about the beginning of him asking her on a date, their date, their first encounter in the club after the date. The plot just jumped from their date to meeting her father.

This is a more "sweet" story. Lots of chemistry with positive affirmations and growth in trust. My only negative (and it's minor) is that Tilly rushed off to save her friend from the mob and expected to be safe from her idiocy.

Loving Dom!!

Dylan is so in love with Tilly, but her past is making her skittish. After agreeing to one date, though, these two ignite!! Steamy and passionate, danger lurking behind them, and bond so strong it’s hard not to fall in love with these two!!

Danger Will Robinson danger

Tully has been emotionally abuse by a boyfriend in the past, but that doesn't stop her from falling in love and giving someone all of her trust.

Good story, would have been nice to find out who killed Javier and why, but a good story none the less. I have been splitting up this series as it seems to be the same after a while.

This story was a DNF because the whole plot of rescuing her friend from the motorcycle gang was ridiculous.
