This book is awesome!
I've read minecraft books mostly about herobrine or Steve but none were a villager as the main character and this books way better than I thought it would be!

Please don't cuss in your books anymore because I am a Christian a follower of Jesus and he wouldn't like you or other people taking the Lord's name in vain like when you said"Oh my God!" Please don't say those things in your books also the Lord loves you more then your mom and dad now please except him in your life.

I love the whole series and found it very funny. Plus cube kid put the best captions under most of the pictures. (LOLOLOL)

Read this just to keep up with the kids. The main character is endearing, but the whole concept- Minecraftia- is not for me.

The writing was ok. Simply written and read out loud to my boys (8 & 5) they laughed at the poo screamer and the zombie chain. They liked pics and I had fun goofing around with reading it pretending that along with Steve..(poor Spike...)that my kids Were also characters because they come from Earth too.. anyways it was most fun in the beginning and I don’t like that the mushroom houses are called girly.. that is not a word.. girl and boy is a gender not a verb (describing word) please use more verbs than gender shaming. That was my issue. But now they want to see what the next building project will be.. I still think a furnace house is a cool idea..totally disagree with the teachers who cant seem to figure out what they are teaching... but hey.. what can I say. It’s got minecraft and a villager who wants to be a warrior like Steve.

Great. Definitely read this. it is quite amazing compared to other Minecraft ebooks. Definitely recommend. If you are unsure. Try out the sample.

Truly a life changing experience. After reading Diary of a Wimpy Sans Undertale and Diary of a Wimpy Snotty Boy, this book has nothing on them. I would definitely recommend this to any 10 year old.

Well, I'm not sure if I liked the book or not, but I was thoroughly entertained by reading it with my son as he would read a line or two and then explain how something in the book could not happen in real Minecraft. Or how he did something like that in his game. Or how the rules of Minecraft work. I got schooled reading it on the game and the world building.
So, the book is good for a fan but not a great book as something you are picking up to read yourself. So the stars are more for fans and for the fun I had with my son.
I do like it better than the Minecraft book that is about someone getting "sucked" into the game. My kids both tossed that one in the DNF pile within the first 3 chapters.

Diary of a wimpy villager book 1 by Cube Kid is an interesting story in that it feels it should be for middle grade kids but there are no kids in it. The diary is kept by the librarian who records no name for himself and is obviously male by the language. Steve is 'It' and we see the progression of monster to almost a friend. Anyone who is different is feared and it is only when a book is exchanged that the librarian sees another side to Steve. Good for all ages.

This book is about a 12 year old villager that is done with all the monsters and not fighting back. Well the monsters are getting stronger,so, they decided that by the end of the year they would the highest grades, would become a WORRIER! So he was trying to get better grades. He also had a friend named Steve.

I love this book its a really good book to read! In this book you go into the life of a minecraft villager that wants to become a warrior. But before, they couldn't become warriors until the monsters got smarter. You get to see what its like to be a minecraft villager. But, there's a twist, he has to be one of the top students to become a warrior and fight for their village.

My 8 year old loved it!
This review is from the 8 year old reader: it was interesting. I liked it because it was about something I enjoyed. I was bored until I read this. I read it all at once and can't wait for the next book.

Really funny!
I chose 5 stars because it was very creative, and I can't even think that a villager could dream and think like that. I wonder if Jeff Kinney really made this book... or maybe Notch. (This is really funny, because it has a poo monster)
