A tutorial for novice users explores the database management program and offers instruction in securing databases, programing interfaces to remote databases, and implementing data-bound controls
This was reasonably clear book that helped me get up to speed in Visual Basic. I preferred reading it to several other books out there on the subject because it gave relatively concise examples, that were largely free from error (you would be surprised at what has been published!) that served to build up the reader's skills and understanding of the programming language. This was a great book at the time, and I am sure that it still has value, being that the essential basics of Visual Basic can never be too dissimilar from their origin. It would be a great buy as a used book.
