This is a detailed, inclusive introduction to the art of falconry. It covers the types of predator birds used, acquiring and training them as well as their care and maintenance. Terms used in the practice of falconry are clearly explained. This is a good reference for anyone interested in the sport.

Covered basics well, however his assumption that one must start with a captive bred bird is a bit local to Britain, from a MN standpoint we have to start with a passage red tail.
