Daniel Radcliffe was born in 1989 in England. He became an instant movie star with his leading role as Harry Potter in the most successful movie series of all time. He also became one of the richest teens in the world. Daniel's parents were in the entertainment industry, his dad was a literary agent and his mother a casting director.H Daniel attended an all-boys school and loved gym and science and soon took an interest in acting. Daniel has a mild brain disorder called dyspraxia which can make a person seem clumsy. He soon found his strength in acting and his parents helped him get small parts on tv and the movies. His big break came when the screenwriter for Harry Potter and his partner saw him at a play. They knew instantly that Daniel was their Harry Potter. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone earned close to 1 billion dollars. Daniel would later star in five more Harry Potter movies. The filming of the last movie was bittersweet for Daniel who was 18 at the time. He'd missed being "Harry Potter" but was anxious play new characters. The stardom and fans could be overwhelming at times, with fans knowing every aspect of his life. Even though he is a multi-millionaire, Daniel hasn't let success spoil him. Up until 2007, he still lived in the same small room in his parents London home, but did buy some real estate in New York. Daniel has managed to avoid the party scene and stays away from drugs and alcohol. He has a "nice guy " image and tries to take on roles that play against that stereotype.

Fans of Daniel Radcliffe and Harry Potter alike will enjoy this overview of the actor’s life and career up to this point. Although the book includes quotes from Radcliffe recorded second-hand, they do give a little glimpse into his personality. There is enough humor to make the reader chuckle aloud.
