This book is great! Beautiful illustrations, updated maps and more species than the Alvaro Jaramillo's Birds of Chile. Very comfortable size to go birding with it.

There's only one small problem, maybe irrelevant to some people, and it is that I consider very important for a field guide to include the local names. This book displays the English and scientific name of all birds, but for someone visiting Chile, how can they communicate if they don't know the local name?
