Since I read this book, I have found out a little more about Jen Hatmaker, the author. Unfortunately, from some of her comments recently, I cannot whole-heartedly recommend her as a person whose opinion I value. That said, my impression of the book, "Tune In", was favorable, and it gave me a lot of positive things to think about concerning prayer, how to know if God is speaking to you, fasting, worship, the work of the Holy Spirit, suffering, discipline, etc. It was a very interesting read, and included amusing anecdotes from Jen's life to illustrate the topic. I felt like the study brought me closer to God, in knowing Him personally, and in understanding His plan for me.

Great book for helping me slow down and not view time with God as something else to check off the to-do list.
