Cobalt City Christmas

Rate this book
When it comes to the holidays, Cobalt City isn't all that different from your hometown, except for the secret headquarters, out-of-town guests capable of destroying the world, hundreds of heavily armed rubber duckies, Christmas geese that fight back, other-worldly arsonists, and inventors with jet packs, that is.

Unwrap a bundle of super-powered adventure for the holidays, including tasty tales from storytellers both new and Nicole Burns, Rosemary Jones, Angel Leigh McCoy, Jeremy Zimmerman, and Cobalt City creator Nathan Crowder. You've never experienced a Christmas like a Cobalt City Christmas!

I have rarely had as much fun writing a story as "A Very Panda Christmas" or as much fun reading as this collection by a group of Northwest writers exploring the back alleys and snowflake-filled malls of Crowder's superhero city.

First, I adore this series. My introduction to it was through a different book by one of the contributing authors, some years ago, at a dinner party. By the time the party was ending, I was halfway through my newly acquired book.

In trying to fill in my missing volumes, I ran into a slight problem. There's no ebook of this title, and I'm forbidden to purchase any more print books until we get rid of some (heresy!) I asked Nate about this, and he was more than kind enough to locate a pdf, and send it my way.

Word of warning: the man is an enabler. But that's neither here nor there.

I'm still in the midst of reading, but I had to take a break, catch my breath, and dry my eyes from where they are leaking from laughing so much.

All I will say for now is that I will never look at a rubber ducky in quite the same way, ever again.
