Meio enrolado...

Nota: 3,5.

3.5 stars. A cute little story about Lacy who had been told by her ex-fiancé that she was frigid. She is starting to believe it until she meets Jake, a golf course developer, who works at the same resort as Lacy. Well, Jake proves to Lacy that she is anything but frigid but now Jake wants long-term. Will Lacy find her HEA with Jake? Well, what do you think! While this was a very pleasant story, it seems I've read this kind of book many times before. Nothing really new. But I'm going to try another Sable Hunter book and give her another chance.

Insecurities Make for Silly in Relationships

Personal hot take: it’s the nice girls who get stepped on, who are the easiest to cheer for. There’s a tightly wound event planner, a golf course designer with a chip on their shoulder, and a town that it’s questionable, if it even deserves either one of them. It’s good but often fails to complicate the tropes much.

Four stars....

This story was just okay for me. It didn't hold my interest like some of the other books I've read by this author but I'm not giving up on reading everything she has written.

The writing team of Sable Hunter and Ryan O'Leary has done it again!!!!!

Every reader has that author(s) whose books they can't wait to get their hands on ~ you don't even read the blurb, you simply one-click it when it goes up for pre-order OR as soon as it's live. For me, such is the case with anything from Sable Hunter and Ryan O'Leary. On their own they are fabulous writers, and as a team they absolutely explode!! Their writing styles compliment each other in such a way that readers are hard-pressed to know where one's writing ends and the other begins.

In Come With Me, Lacy and Jake are two misguided souls who base their thoughts and feelings on love, sex and relationships on what they've witnessed and experienced in the past, and they struggle to allow themselves to see that together they can change everything.

Fortunately for them, fate and a few nudges from some self-professed matchmakers, this pair is going to learn that it just takes THE right person to change your perspective about what you've known and believed.

I am really looking forward to what will come next after this introduction to the Dixie Dreaming Series.

Wow, this was such a great read. I love how Sable and Ryan just draw you right into the story from page one, couldn't put this one down.
Lacy just stole my heart, such a lovely sweet girl, wanting to please her parents so much she found herself engaged to a man she didn't love, but who also didn't love her. After yet another unfulfilled session in bed with Stephen, for which he blames Lacy, she realises she wants more, there has to be more, and she calls off their engagement.
Lacy is an events coordinator and takes a job at A resort, putting distance between her and her disgruntled parents and ex. Here she meets the very handsome Jake Knight, they have an instant attraction. Lacy fantasises about Jake, he has quite the reputation with the ladies. He's avoided commitment and long term relationships for a reason, and Lacy feels inadequate in the bedroom, all thanks to the ex calling her frigid. Will these two hit it off, is he her Knight in shining armour, you'll have read to find out.

Lacy is an event planner at a country club/resort. Jake is an golf manager and he is also designing the new golf course for the club. Lacy's old boyfriend left her because he told her she was frigid. She has never had an orgasm and she really believes she is. She lives her life through her friends, Kay and Denise, romances. She is attracted to Jake, but then so is all the women. He is a very handsome man. He starts to talk to Lacy and she finds herself feeling things she hasn't in a long time. He takes her to lunch and they are very comfortable with each other and she realizes he really does like her. This story is about overcoming some of our own hangups. She really wants Jake but she is afraid and over time he tries to convince her otherwise. Yow will really love this one. Congratulations Sable. If you find explicit sexual scenes offensive, this book may not be for you

Sable Hunter and Ryan O'Leary make a great team, this book was amazing. Lacy is an event planner for a country club and Jake is the golf club manager there. Lacy left her hometown, when she realized that the man her family wanted her to marry, just didn't do it for her. Their relationship was just not what she wanted, and of course he blamed her. Jake, has an ax to grind with some of the people who started this country club. He has also had his eye on Lacy, and with the help of some matchmakers they are thrown together. When planning a good old fashioned Fourth of July event, Lacy butts heads with an old man that thinks his way is the only way, but Jake backs her one hundred percent. On the fourth, the fireworks explode and then some! This book was fantastic, it was funny, sexy and romantic. As always Sable Hunter does not disappoint.

OK

This book was ok. It was a bit confusing because it switches from one person's head to another and back again without warning, even from secondary characters. And there are too many names from supporting characters and their love interests, and full if too many cryptic remarks about each their pasts. 67% in I got bored and put it down for a while, and had to come back to it. When I did it was to find characters meddling in Jake and Lacy's relationship. Sure it worked out, but they humiliated her. I hate scheming, meddling friends. And of course the cliche climax in time witht the fireworks was a bit much. Though I will say the sex was hot.

What a joke

DNF... I tried I forced myself and hot about 62% into the book before I couldn't do it anymore. Lacy is a joke. Never having the big "O" that's really all she c an think about or how she's broken cause she hasn't have an "O" . One time Jake's going down on her and she tells him to stop cause she feeling like she got to go to the bathroom but it doesn't stop there it was a nightmare. Jake oh god grow some balls is all I could think of when it came to him. Don't waste you time.

A Charming Tale

We have years of abuse, one man doing his best to ruin a family. Along side we have a very shy woman. She finds some courage, and starts life anew. Her past experiences still guide her, and an explosive end awaits you. Well written, and I seek more.
