L.E. Wilson writes Paranormal Romance starring intense alpha males and the women who are fearless enough to tame them—for the most part anyway. ;) In her novels you'll find smoking hot scenes, a touch of suspense, a bit of gore, and multifaceted characters, all working together to combine her lifelong obsession with the paranormal and her love of romance.
Her writing career came about the usual way: on a dare from her loving husband. Little did they know just one casual suggestion would open a box of worms (or words as the case may be) that would forever change their lives.
Lattes and music are a necessary part of her writing process, and sometimes you'll find her typing away at her favorite Starbucks. She walks two miles to get there, to make up for all of those coffees.

Generally with a series book like this I want it to pick up where the previous one finished, I don't, as a rule like large jumps in time, fortunately that wasn't the case here, this book took us back, back to Luukas, chained, near starving and being tortured. Keira, Emma's sister is the witch allowing this to happen although she is just as much a prisoner as Luukas, being held against her will with her sisters life the collateral. Although it wasn't always easy reading we needed to know at least some of the horrors Luukas suffered through and for this book to work we needed to see Keira doing what little she could to help him, without this the rest just wouldn't have been believable. We know from the previous book they escape and the question is after all he's been through can Luukas come out the other side whole, ready to once again become the powerful Master vampire he once was. We also know Leeha escaped as well, she's a very dangerous combination, powerful and evil, but she's also been rejected repeatedly by Luukas and she's out for revenge plus she certainly has more than a touch of crazy going on. This is on the whole an enjoyable read and I'm intrigued to discover what happens next with Aiden, Shea, Christian and especially Dante. This book was unusual for me in that generally when I read a romance the main couple are obviously the main focus of the book and everything else revolves around them, this didn't happen in this case and while I liked Luukas and Keira I wasn't totally sold on either of them or them together but it was the rest of the book which held me, I want to know what happens next, which means I will probably read the next book. I read and for the most part enjoyed the first book in this series 'Blood Hunger' it was going really well until the end which I felt was a bit disappointing, I mentioned this in my review and gave 3 stars which I felt was a fair rating, I was surprised then to hear from the author offering me an ARC copy of this the second book, asking me to give her another chance, I thought this was actually quite brave, I've been approached by authors in the past but in every case I'd loved their books so I was more or less a safe bet. I'm giving this 3.5 stars and I feel a little mean I really wanted to give more but I will be continuing on with this series to see where it goes.
ARC given by the author in exchange for my honest review.
I enjoyed this book! If you are looking for a sweet vampire mating, then this is not your book. This book is kind of dark. I will be honest and tell you guys that I didn't read the first book. It wouldn't let me buy it on amazon for some reason? I have no clue but I read this one anyways. Even though it's not the first book.. I really didn't get lost. I am sad that I don't know all of Nikulas and Emma's story but I know how it ended so that will just have to be good enough for me.
In this book we have Luukas (side note: I love how his name is spelled) who has been in captivity for 7 years. He has been stripped of his master vampire powers and has been repeatedly tortured and denied of blood. We find out that Keira is the witch who has made all of this possible. She took his powers and helped the evil vampire Leeha. But Keira didn't want to do any of those things. She was blackmailed into doing them and in the end she tries to help Luukas as much as she can. But when rescue comes Luukas is half crazed and tries to kill her.. but he can't because she is his.
Through out the book Luukas is struggling with a darkness in his mind. He goes back and forth on wether he should kill Keira or not and he does not believe in the fated mate fairytale. He tries everything he can think of to prove that it isn't true. This is the only real issue I have with the book. I know he was struggling with insanity but I hated that he constantly thought about killing her and how once his mind was better he would be done with her.... it just formed a negative opinion for him in my mind. There was one point in the book I tried really hard to look at things from his perspective but it was hard for me because he didn't start to treat her well until the last chapter of the book.
I am really excited to get into Blood Obsession and see what is going on with Aiden!
I received this book from the author to read and enjoy, and in return give my honest opinion and review of it. Alright, so Blood Vengeance is book #2 of L.E. Wilson Paranormal Romance series, 'Deathless Night' series. This book is about Luukas and Keira. Now if you've read the first book 'Blood Hunger' you know exactly who Luukas and Keira are. If you haven't then you need to stop reading this review and pick up Blood Hunger and start reading.
Ok so this book takes place partially at the very same time Nics and Emma's story is taking place. It shows what goes on, so that it makes it more understandable on what happened to Luukas therefore answering my question Last review about him. But now raises more questions such as: Did Aiden get turned into a demon vampire thing? Who is the cloaked man, he seems very intriguing. And what's to come of th e others? So many questions and it keeps me wanting to read this series.
What I liked about this book, again like its predecessor, it was easy to read, easy to get lost in the story. And it is well written. I also like how so many things are still a mystery and in each book something new is revealed, making it so that each book has a piece of the puzzle to it.
Personally, for me the only thing I found wrong with this book was, it could've used maybe just a little more action. And though Kiera felt bad for her part in Luukas's torture, she was just a little to complacent with everything, I think she could've shown more spunk than the little bit we get to see in this book. Maybe in the future books though she'll be a side character we will see more spunk from her.
Otherwise this was a fantastic book a definite 4 stars from me, and I highly recommend reading this series as I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
The king was taken... for 7 years he's living a hell... and is her fault!!
Random things: He was cocky and got screwed... It was her fault, if she only talk with him, they had 7 years to try to escape together!! 7 years without shower with the same cloths... The brothers was able to hide that the king was missing for 7 years...
The 7 years was the no no for me... because is to much time and the story is not coherent....
This is the second book in the Deathless Night Series and it was intense. This story has Luukas and Keira as the lead pair.
Luukas is a 600 year old master vampire, tricked and trapped by Leeha.Leeha is a seductive vampire hell bent on world domination. She wants to rule the vampire kingdom with Luukas as her King.
Leeha was obsessed with Luukas and is determined to break him after he repeatedly refuses her. Leeha's Creator abused her and convinced her that she was destined for greatness. This was a messed up relationship which moulded Leeha in a major way.
Leeha was 50 shades of Psychotic and the only solution for now is to lock up your vampires.
Leeha uses Keira to control Luukas. Luukas feels all the pain his tormentors inflict on him while Keira keeps any actual physical damage at bay. Keira hates hurting Luukas but Leeha threatens to kill her sister if Keira refuses to co operate.
Luukas refuses to give in after being tortured for 7 years but his mind is fragile. After being rescued Keira returns Luukas's powers but he keeps her as his prisoner. Luukas is at war with himself - part of him cares for Keira while the other wants to hurt her.
Circumstances allow Luukas to have a little tit for tat and this is where his dark side rules. His need for vengeance surfaces but the bonded male in him puts in a good fight. Keira was his witch, his angel but he refuses to accept her as his mate.
This is the first time in PNR where you see a vampire with an identity crisis. His reactions are realistic, his pain is overwhelming and his instincts are divided.
Keira was calm and caring, she was resigned to her death and desperate for forgiveness.
There is no rest for the wicked and Leeha snatches Aiden during the attack. She gleefully reveals her diabolical plans and has a soft spot for Aiden.
Nik acts as mediator between Luukas and Keira and is worried about both of them.
The story was good, the plot was great but Luukas was absolutely brilliant. He was the perfect example of a conflicted vampire. The author is consistent and the series gets better with every book.
I received a free ebook in exchange for an honest review.
I did not read the first book in this series but still thoroughly enjoyed Blood Vengeance.
Luukas is being held captive and tortured for years. Keira is a witch that is being forced to hold his power so he can be held captive. The capture has threatened her sister Emma's life is she doesn't. During their time together she develops deep feelings for Luukas while he only sees her as the evil witch holding him captive.
Is Luukas capture his savior as well?
This is a dark book, but my twisted self likes dark reads. LE Wilson paints a gruesome picture of their living quarters as well as the torture of poor Luukas. He is mentally and physically tortured. Luukas and Keira are rescued by his mind is still damaged from the years of torture. His feelings for her are torn between killing her for what she did to him and crazy possessive cravings for her. Then she is taken from him and he has to decide whether to return to his place of torture to save her or not.
I am a lover of vampire books and this was a different angle on a vampire story. The leader of the vampire world being held captive and tortured, showing a vulnerable side to his amazing power and strength. Not something you seen often. Well done LE Wilson.
I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Blood Vengeance is the second book in the Deathless Night series and is Luukas and Keiras’ story whom I met in book one. It was here I learnt someone kidnapped them and they have been missing for seven years. I enjoyed the first book and looked forward to reading the second book.
As a master vampire, capturing and imprisoning Luukas would have been impossible. However, his enemy had the perfect weapon to subdue him, a powerful witch named Kiera.
Seven years of captivity at the hands of an insane vampire hungry for power would break anyone and Luukas was no exception. I felt for him. It could not have been easy for someone so powerful to be brought to his knees in such a fashion.
Keira found herself in a precarious position. Forced to use her powers to subdue and torture Luukas. One might say as a powerful witch, it would have been easy to thwart the enemy’s plan. However, the enemy had a contingency, either Keira complied or Emma, her sister dies.
Luukas vowed to get revenge on the witch responsible for holding him prisoner. It did not matter if she had been under duress. However, things took a turn when she tried to protect him. He then found himself with this intense desire to protect her, even though he still felt the need for revenge. This mental battle haunted him during his time of captivity and after his escape from the hellhole. His mental battle intensified upon learning Keira was his mate. Despite all he has been through, Luukas proved a force to be reckoned with, especially in protecting Keira.
Keira felt remorseful about her part in Luukas‘s imprisonment and was willing to accept whatever punishment he dished out, even if it meant her death.
Leeah, the vampire who held Luukas and Emma captive was one screw short of crazy. Her quest for power led her down a demented pathway. She wants to become the ruler of all vampires. The author expounded on her life after she became a vampire providing insight as to the reason for her current actions. At one point I felt sorry for her, but the feeling only lasted for a moment.
The story took place within the same timeline of Emma and Nikulas’ story. The author provided updates on what transpired with the members of Luukas’s hunting team since their appearance in book one. I am curious to learn what is in store for them. We also get information about Nikulas and Emma, which did not feature in the previous installment.
This was an easy read and like its predecessor, I had a hard time putting it down. There were some intense moments, which had me holding my breath.
Conclusion/Recommendation Blood Vengeance provided suspense served with romance and a side of magic. I am excited to continue series. The epilogue left me wondering what happened to Aiden and what will be Leaah’s next move.
I recommend this series to fans of paranormal romance
so our main dude - Lukas or something like that- has been imprisoned for 7 years because bad hot girl Leeha wants to mate him (??? even though like one book later she's in love with other hot dude who's friends with Lukas' brother, so doesn't check out but whatever) and because main hot girl Keira who's a super powerful witch has used her super powerful magic to hide his powers. now supposedly she had no other options/can't do anything about this because Leeha might kill her sister. and like three pages into the book, we get to learn that Keira is in love with Lukas (how? they don't know each other, she's just helped torture him for 7 years so that's creepy as fuck). and for the first time in 7 years, Keira does one thing nice for him. like Wilson hella needed to write a better story here 100%. this was ridiculous. Keira is super powerful (in that she could get rid of Lukas's master vampire powers, but couldn't hold down Leeha so Lukas and her could take Leeha down? this could have been so much better than it was.
this doesn't really spoil the climax of the book, but it does talk about stuff at the end bit of the book so don't read if you are planning on reading this and super anti knowing any details
I could not stand Keira Moss. She absolutely disgusted me. She was a coward and a fool. So, at some point during the 7 years she had tortured Luukas , she fell in love with him……was that before he started screaming, during the time he was screaming, or was that after she was done torturing him?🤔. She was a coward. The author must have thought that Leeha threatening Keira’s sister was a descent enough excuse for all that she did to him🤨. 7 years go by and during that time all Leeha ever does as far as Emma goes are verbal threats. During the 7 years Keira never asks something like “how do I even know my sisters still alive?”. She just takes Leeha’s word for this? I love fated mate stories. But, in this case, the fated mate “bond” seemed more like a curse. Luukas says he wants to kill her, burn her, then says protect her. It’s like he is being forced to care about her. There is no choice. Another thing that bothered me was that Keira was some “super witch” with pretty much unlimited power at her beckon-call, yet in the 7 years of captivity she never once tried to stop/kill Josiah or Leeha. She never once tried to escape. On another note, there were to many dang characters that had their own chapters! I skipped through each one of them. I did not have the patience to read the chapters for Aiden, Nik, Christian and Leeha. Why on earth would I want to read anything about Leeha? There is more stuff that I don’t like, but these are the biggest problems I had. I think my #1 problem is the FMC being a complete coward to the point that there was no way to redeem herself. Keira Moss was truly pathetic. #2, the fated mates bond came across like it’s a curse, like Luukas had no say in the matter. Sorry for the book⬆️
There was no depth to the story, nor did it flow well. There were interesting beginnings of characters, but the storyline and the personalities were not fully developed. The POVs of the non main characters of this book were highly annoying. It was weird when the main characters would talk about how hot the other main was when their bodies were bloody and broken. If my love interest just got whipped or was burned and tortured in front of my eyes, my first thought would not be that I would bang him. The plot is not well thought out. This one was disappointing.
Luukas is half mad (well, people would say completely mad) daily starvation and torture for seven years would do that to anyone, but to a powerful vampire it took a lot. But with one foot balanced precariously on the edge of insanity, Luukas knows it won’t take much more to fall!!
Keira hopes this nightmare will one day end. Being taken from her sister by monsters was bad enough, watching as the monsters descended on her sisters was worse, but the nightmare truly started even she had to torture and torment a vampire on a daily basis. The things she was made to do to him will haunt her forever, and if she ever got a chance to free him she would, but in freeing the vampire she was signing her life away, because surely the vampire would want her head as payment for what she put him through....
This one reminded me of another author that I read. Kept hostage and tortured on a daily basis, until the poor vampire doesn’t know what’s reality and what wasn't. But he knows if he ever gets out, then the witch is dead! He holds her responsible, (even though it’s not her fault!)
Kiera knows she’s a witch, always known. Her sister on the other hand has no idea. That was on her parents, they didn’t want her knowing they had to escape the coven, and that she was a witch (I was never sure why, if Kiera was a witch, then why couldn’t they teach Emma?!) Emma was the only think Kiera cared about, so when Leeha (evil vampire) threatened to capture and kill her sister, Kiera had no choice but to comply with Leeha’s wishes.
I liked this one, I liked how Luukas wanted to kill the witch, but couldn’t (and he wasn’t sure why) Watching how Kiera tries to save him, puts herself on the line for him time and time again, in fact she’s prepared to die so that he can have some peace! Luukas didn’t think he’d ever get captured (even though he knew Leeha would set a trap) and he never thought he’d be hidden from his clan for such a long time (I don’t think he realises until later how long he was gone for) Kiera I really liked, a strong and I dependent woman/witch. And she thwarted Leeha at every turn (even added a few hidden surprises in the curses that Leeha wanted Kiera to cast over the rest of Luukas‘a clan)
Enough naughty moments to keep us entertained, and well thought out fight scenes.
Quick recap.... Leeha thinks her and Luukas should be mates and rule all the vampires. Well that’s not going to happen, vampires take human lovers because vampire blood can’t sustain them! But Leeha’s father “turned” (her and made her believe that they should be rulers of the Vampire world!!
So as Luukas fights to keep hold of his sanity and his witch, things are being plotted behind his back! Not his council, they are loyal to a fault. His brother has kept the coven going, no one knew their master was missing! His guards/council have been tirelessly looking for him, and now they have him they aren’t sure how to help him, but as long as Kiera is with him they can help him recover.
Kiera isn’t going anywhere even if she wanted too! But she wants to know how her sister is, and is shocked when she finds out Luukas’s brother is now Emma’s mate!
You can read this book on its own. But as you read the story, you do become invested in the rest of the coven, you want to know if they will all find their mates? So the only way to find out, is to read the rest of the books.
4 stars for Book Two in the Deathless Night series. More of the same vampires and witches, with the addition of a warlock [not in book one]. A Vampire's Vengeance centers it's romance on Luukas [Master Vampire, brother to Nikulas] and Keira [strong witch, sister to Emma]. The big-bad is still her psycho self. Luukas and Keira have a difficult adjustment to make now that they are free. Keira realizes they have a mate bond, and Luukas is utterly conflicted between the mate bond and his hatred for the witch that helped torture him. Leeha is not out of the picture yet. [And how she's smarter than everyone else put together is a mystery to me.]
Book Two does a great job of switching POVs, and we get much more background and a lot of loose ends clearing up. Pacing is still quite good. I will say, the MMC feels SO emo. Understandably, I suppose. And I appreciate the struggle to get to the HEA. Still finding a plot point [or two] that are just on the convenient side of things. But I enjoyed the book, and found it more satisfying, overall, compared to book one. I like ALL these characters [minus... the psycho].
Second book in the series and you NEED to read the first one before this one to be able to understand and keep up with the story.
Just like the first book it is written with multiple POV 's and centre more on the storyöine and intrigue than the individual couples. Second couple to get together. Answers some of the questions we are left with after book one but still ends with cliffhangers and unanswered questions.
Low on the romance. Good intrigue. Love that we keep following Nikulas from book one even if it is his brother who is the H in this one. I like that the H's reaction toward the h's role in is life the last seven years is more logical than most romance books write them and that the h is ckever enough to see the truth about his behavior and feelings instead of acting like a spoiled brat.
The heat between them is lacking. But the sweetnes makes up for that.
The intrigue and the way the story develops makes you forgive the author for the lack of heat. It is more intrigue and suspence than romance. But I still recommend that you read it, just be prepared to read ALL of the books in the series because the storyline continues through them all.
7 years of torture would drive anyone or creature mad- even a Master Vampire.
Hell would have been a vacation compared to the last 7 years at the hands of his witch. Torture, beating, food deprivation, mental anguish...are just words. Luukas survived more than just these.
He watched her repeatedly do this to him. His witch. She will be his to kill. And yet the voice is his head also screams she is HIS. Kill or claim. KILL? Or CLAIM?
It sounds like an easy choice after 7 years of unbearable pain. Tormented right up to his breaking point. Never quite giving into the evil ones demands...always at the mercy of the little witch.
Kill her or claim her? One will satisfy his dark urges.
One choice will result in his demise. The other will be torture all over again...
Tortured and almost driven insane Luukas has been held captive for seven years. The insane vampire who has him is convinced they should mate and has tried everything to get him to agree. He's a master vampire and the only reason he can't escape is because the witch took his power. Keira hates what she's had to do but her sister's life has been threatened. When the torture goes too far she's sworn to herself she will try to help Luuk. Luuk's brother Nik has been searching for him and finally finds him. With the help of some werewolf friends they finally break Luuk and Keira out but it's obvious to Nik his brother is not the same. The story is gripping and made some excellent reading.
This was an awesome book that I really enjoyed. The story and characters grabbed me from the beginning and I couldn't stop reading. I loved the characters and watching them grow together, they were well written and went well together. I found this book amazing with great word building making me feel apart of the story and watching it unfold in front of me. A definite must read for any fan and I can't wait to read more from this author!!!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A Vampire's Vengeance is the second book in the Deathless Night series and another great read. This is Luuk and Keira story, we met them in the first book A Vampire Bewitched, they are both well developed and engaging characters, their chemistry is instant. The storyline is well written and with magic, mystery, twists, betrayal and forgiveness. Another great read from this author, I recommend reading this series.

I gave book 1 of this series a great review but now......A Vampires Vengeance is even better !!! I won't give anything away but my heart literally stopped about three quarters of the way through the story and I had to get up and take a few deep breaths to get my emotions under control. Excitement, twists and turns, emotions high and low, angst, love, hot and sexy, strong characters both male and female....oh my.....and a HEA.......so far. L.E. Wilson you are one amazing writer and you do not disappoint! Book 3 here I come.......
i'm not sure why i continued this series after not really enjoying the first, but i was pleasantly surprised? i liked the mc's way better in this book! felt bad for both luukas and keira for the shitty situations they were in and even though keira technically did wrong to luukas, i still liked her because she had her own reasons for doing so- to protect her sister. maybe i liked this better because the mc's spent time with each other before slowly falling in love? and i liked the transition from distrustful strangers to reluctant allies to finally lovers.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Hot sexy she helped torture him for years but it was not her fault ..he wanted to hate her and end her but she was his fated mate .. They have their ups and downs but all in all a good book .. It bothered me that she helped the main big vamp because she threatened her sister all those years but Keira is supposed to be a powerful witch . If that is true she should have been able to contact her sister some how and help luukas instead of helping to torturer him . I get she picked her sister over him which I understand , but the whole powerful which part I dont
This is the second book in the series. The characters were much better in this one than in the first book. There was still too many long graphic sex scenes, but the story line was good. I enjoyed it and would read the third book. I would recommend this one if you don't mind having to page over quite a few sex scenes.

Wow what a fantastic book 2 to this series and this is Luukas’s and Keira’s story they were the characters from book 1 who were kidnapped, Keira was made to torment Luukas who vowed revenge on her but one taste of her blood and the word mine comes into his head. Wow poor Luukas he went through hell with what Keira put him through his mind was like a rubber band ready to snap. Another fantastic addition to this series and I highly recommend this book.
I did not want to put this book down. It was very well written and I was so enamored with the characters. I started this series and I thought the first book was good but this one was so much better. I am glad i found this series. i am not a big vampire reader but the story line has me hooked. I need to know what is going to happen. I loved the twist with this one with the Witch and the vampire. Such a good read and I highly recommend you read this series.
The story was alright but had too many pov’s to really get a feel for the two main characters. It was a short read and didn’t have much depth to it really. I skipped most of it and still got the plot. Not really worth the price I paid for it but I finished it. I tried to rush through it since it really wasn’t worth it. Won’t be reading the others. Wish the story had more to it.
This is one of the very best books I have read in quite awhile. I loved Keira and Luukas they were great. Non stop action with a can't put down page turning read. So glad I chose to read and review. Can't wait to read the next to see what happens to the entire cast of vampires, witches and warlords.
First let me state that I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
Holy shiznet!!! This story is gr8. It's just as good I'd not better than the first. My heart broke for both Keira and Luukas. The hell they both went through. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
I am enjoying this series and it is very exciting and fun to read. I like that although there is a couple that is the focus of each book the other characters are followed as well and not just as background. This makes the story more enjoyable and makes me want to read the rest of the series.
