About the author

Marie Cunningham was involved in a car crash which left her with injuries to her spine, daily pain & depression.

After being told there was nothing else to be done for her except fusing the nerves so she couldn't feel the pain, she was led to alternative medicine & introduced to the world of Crystals.

Because of the difference it made to her life, she went on to open her first shop The Crystal Cave, where she was also introduced to Reiki, Hypnotherapy & many metaphysical subjects, for which she later trained in & taught.

In 2009 she proudly received her MA in Creative Writing at Teesside University, as she hadn’t even sat her eleven plus in school & went on to re-vamp her book Creating Reality. In 2010 The Energy Within was released which received 5 star review in Spirit & Destiny magazine. It also topped the library's 'Mood busting' chart this year.

By using her story, we can understand the importance of being true to ourselves, how to recognise when we’re not & how to take back our personal power, so that we can truly be all that we are.

Besides writing about Wellbeing, Spirituality & Metaphysics, Marie loves spending time with her grown up family & her three grandchildren.
