I loved this one just as much as the first one! This is also why I never start a series before it is finished because I need more! That just shows how great this book is though.
I loved the connection between Hex and Eva and feel Eva's struggle with Hex. Even though he is technically a "bad" guy who committed a crime you get the sense he isn't actually a bad guy and you root for him.
I cannot wait for the 3rd book! I want more of this couple and need answers!

And the saga continues...
Hex is an enigma. I really can't figure him out - who he really is - how he got to be as wealthy as he is - why he's holding back from taking what he clearly wants. I have a hard time reconciling that with a true alpha male. So I'm looking forward to book 3 where I hope we'll get a lot of the answers.
Eva is a bit of an enigma as well. She's falling for Hex. Can you blame her? He treats her well and saved her from herself. And they knew each other's intimate thoughts for over 2 years via the internet before he kidnapped her. This is not your typical Stockholm syndrome.
What's missing here for me (hence not 5 stars) is more of the 'why' and what makes these characters tick. If these two shared their kinkiest desires on the internet, then why isn't Hex fulfilling them as part of his 'plans'. My God - I wanted the story to go there so bad...and we got a taste of it in book one, only to have it yanked out from under us.
I guess it boils down to this: I have no clue where all of this is going because I don't really know the characters' motivations and background. We're over 350 pages into this story so I feel like I should have a better grasp of what's going on. That being said, I'll definitely continue to book 3 because I have to know what happens with these two.

Wow
That's all I can say. This second part was intense and it really rips at the heartstrings. It's been one strange ride, but Hex is such a great character. Intense for sure, but wow a real true Dom. He saved her life and gave her exactly what she thought she needed to be happy, but in the process took away what really made her happy.

Tote forgot was waiting for third part before reading the remainder, so mad at myself. I miss Hex. he's AWESOME. This is a fantasy I can get with. I've see conflicting info on when the next part will come out. I even had to get on face book (never do) to see if I could find any info. If you know when Hex return is, PLEASE lemme know. It is IMPERATIVE I find out what happens

I really love this book. Even though I am a Kindle Unlimited user on Amazon and borrowed both book 1 and 2, I quickly purchased them. I am having trouble waiting for book 3. I check the store for it every day.

Rarely do I ever give 5 stars, and after reading the first book (and loving the hell out of it) I thought the second one would be a bit of a disappointment.
Boy, was I wrong!!
Eva just became even more relatable, doing precisely what any sane, sensual, modern woman would do. This book didn't feel degrading for a second, unlike most slavery books. I fell even more in love with Hex, and their relationship blossomed beautifully.
Of course, as I'm starting to learn Miss Joren's style, the book ends with a bit of a cliffhanger. Which means I am already well-into book number 3.
If you enjoyed the first book, you will LOVE this one!
**As with every honest review, I have to admit the book was filled with typos and editing mistakes. I had the Kindle version, and there was one after another. Felt more like a rough draft as far as editing. A1 story though, so I still have to give it 5 stars**

Dark it is not
I wish the author had really gone there... it started out so good with the first book, mystery, intriguing, a touch of sinister; but left you feeling there was something missing. It did not go were my imagination thought it would. It became comical at times & dry with hints of a messed up man. But then it petered out with vanilla all through the 2nd book. Quite disappointing, really. It read like a child's fairy tale story.

Great read
Enjoy this book so much . I'm so hooked and can't wait to read the third. It's refreshing to read something different. It's not the typical, predictable boring read.

Good Book
Constantly engrossed and enjoyed it from beginning to end, but it had the feeling of a serial which is meh. But it's a great story!

This book was a recommendation and omg it was friggin brilliant i loved the interaction with Eva and hex the control and actions they take it really makes the story so so good.
Just a quick thought half way through I was thinking all sorts was he a vampire,shapeshifter all sorts as that's how well written this book is I couldn't put it down
Realistic,Smart,sassy, emotional and hot these book 1and 2 as read them back to back was amazing this author Jesse joren can write a story so well Iam still thing about it
6 perfect stars and is on my 2016 amazing book shelf ( has to be amazingly brilliant to deserve 6stars )

Great Second Book
Seamless transition from book 1. Wow. With each subsequent book the story just got better and better. The build up from each book was perfect. I loved the twists, turns, and surprises, not only in the story but the ones too that came from Hex who really loves Eva. I enjoyed this series very much. One negative: please get a better proofreader. The errors slowed my reading speed and were annoying.

Masterful # 2. Welcome back to a world where Hex and Eva continue with their twisted romance. Hex has been antagonizing Eva with, of all things ... a stationary bike. Her days are planned by repitition and revolution of the wheels on this bicycle. But then Hex throws a cog in the works and surprises both Eva and myself. You really can't guess as to what these two are going to do next. If you haven't read #1, you are totally lost and need to get it quick!! Then, you'll be ready for #3.

Oh wow...
I keep finding authors and books that I absolutely love. This wild and crazy series has knocked the wind out of me. I see what "HEX" is doing at the end of this segment, but my heart feels for her. Can't wait to get into the last part.

You have to read this series!
What can I say, it is full of mystery, frustration, heartbreak and love. In all of the right amounts. You think you know how it will go, but the story throws you off and then you are trying to catch up. Great read!
