2 stories in one package

Demon killer --Dermot Power

On this title we get to witness a piece of genuine British ancient history as we see the rise of Boudica against the Roman hordes invading Britain. the story is very nice an engages the "viewr" on a personal journey to the roots of shamanism & history of those races, as oposed to the roman invaders who are clearly depicted as an -amorall, thievery gang of outlanders- bringing forward a new world order (still weird in some aspects, with that 3-eyes creature on their side) not to mention dinuvenalls

Fun read and gorgeous art. This book combines two related Slaine stories, where he is sent forward in time first to face off against Romans attacking the Celts, then later to restore King Arthur's legacy. Drenched in fantasy and lore, these are interesting takes on both history (the Romans) and mythology King Arthur).

Even though I have been a fan of many characters that came out of the 2000AD stable, Slaine never counted among them. But having experienced these stories compiled in a graphic novel, he is now definitely among them.

The art in this one is simply beautiful and stunning. Sadly, the stories drag a bit, but then again, it gives more pages to awe the art.

An absolutely beautiful comic artistically and story wise. Contains two separate Slaine adventures but both are equally fantastic. If you're a fan of dark fantasy and gory sword and sorcery you will love this!
