A Complete Grammar of Esperanto, the International Language (Classic Reprint): With Graded Exercises for Reading and Translation, Together With Full Vocabularies
Excerpt from A Complete Grammar of Esperanto, the International Language
This volume has been prepared to meet a twofold need. An adequate presentation of the International Language has become an imperative necessity. Such presentation, including full and accurate grammatical explanations, suitably graded. Re'ading lessons, and similarly graded material for translation from English, has not heretofore been accessible within the compass of a single volume, or in fact within the compass of any two or three volumes.
I needed to study more Esperanto grammar after Duolingo, which does not teach participles. The explanations in Kellerman’s grammar are technical and the arrangement is haphazard, but an abundance of example sentences make everything clear.
Does exactly what the title implies. 4 stars because the other star is over on http://esperanto-edmonton.wikidot.com/ with the answer guide for the translations, not included in the book.
I used this book as my first course in Esperanto and I simply love it! The explanations are very good. The material is well organized, it has explanations, exercises, and texts for practicing what you have just seen (best part!).
