Read the swedish edition with kiddo, and it was really good! The connection between kids and animals is always lovely to explore. And that some kids just have a knack for animals. Which is the case here with Tilly. The writer is doing a great job with writing about her homelife as a adoptee and her really lovely family. It's also obvious that this is the first book of several, since it mostly sets the scene. Kiddo really loved it.

My mum just caught me rereading this series - one of favourites as a young, horse-crazed girl. She made fun of me, so I pointed to her horsey books on the bookshelf, the ones she'd read as a girl.
The ones i'd recently caught her rereading.

We were quiet for a moment, then bust out laughing.

These books are fun, beautifully illustrated and easy to read.
I loved them as a kid, and still love them now.

Nice little book for young readers who are horse fans. I like how Pippa shares little tips and advice on how to act around horses. Will help young, impressionable readers with their own ponies.
