This book was everything I hoped it would be and more.

Malia Jacobs created a story that completely pulled me in from the very first chapter. Kate is such a compelling protagonist—strong, imperfect, and constantly evolving—and watching her navigate love, loyalty, and her own growing powers made it impossible to stop reading. Lucas was the perfect counterpart, and together they had me emotionally invested from beginning to end.

What I loved most was how effortlessly the story blended romance, suspense, and supernatural elements. Every chapter revealed something new, the tension kept building, and I never felt like the plot lost momentum. Just when I thought I knew where things were headed, another twist had me questioning everything.

The world-building was immersive without being overwhelming, and the emotional stakes felt just as important as the action. This is one of those books that keeps you thinking long after you've finished the final page.

If you're looking for a paranormal fantasy with memorable characters, addictive storytelling, and a romance worth rooting for, I can't recommend this series enough.

Now I'm doing what every reader dreads—patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for Malia Jacobs to release the third and final book in the trilogy. I need answers, and I can't wait to see how this incredible story comes to an end.
