Content/Scope: An encyclopedia for students 7-12 years old. Full of bright photos, accessible information, and quizzes. This book is part of a reference series geared towards young children with lots of short, fun facts.

Accuracy/Authority/Bias: DK Publishing founded in London in 1974. Prides itself on publishing highly visual, photographic non-fiction books for adults and children.

Relation to Other Works: There are many children’s encyclopedias out there, but his one is specifically focused of science for children in a simple text.

Accessibility/Diversity: This encyclopedia is very diverse in its photographs and nondiscriminatory vocabulary.

I remember getting this when i was 11 years old at a school fair, This was my introduction to science! Its really easy to follow for younger audience due to none cmplex wording and not being to specific. For example it talks about atoms and that it got protons , electrons and neutrons but dosent get deeper than that. So nothing about quarks

Really good 📖. My 🧔🏻(dad)got this book for me in the,umm,the library near the Barrington mall. I go to drum classes on fridays in the Barrington mall. Anyway,this book is awesome. Lots of cool facts.
