This is the true story of Carlos Annacondia, whose faithfulness, devotion, and faith in signs and miracles brought about an awakening in Argentina that has spread throughout the world and continues to this day. Annacondia's ministry is marked by the same signs and wonders of the early church—sick bodies are healed, bondages are broken, the demonized are set free, oppression is lifted—and he knows these subjects as very few people do.
LIsten to Me, Satan! is full of amazing testimonies that will renew, inspire, and charge your faith. It's the story of how one man confronted the devil, in the authority of the name of Jesus, and experienced extraordinary results. Join him on his journey from the poor villages of Buenos Aires to a global ministry, and find victory and freedom in your own life as well.
I found this book very helpful. This is my third book I have read on this topic of spiritual warfare. And all three have been very consistent. An Exorcist Tells His Story and They Shall Expel Demons. Live a Christian life, not a Sunday Christian but a faithful Jesus Christ follower. Avoid the occult. Have faith and believe in what the Bible teaches. Annacondia's book was the most inspiring of the three I have read (They Shall Expel Demons by Derek Prince has the most important info). This book had the most testimonials, and they all showed how your belief in Christ holds much power, where we have the authority to expel demons, heal the sick, and bring others the good news of the Gospel. Truly inspiring, and life changing.
i really love this book. it teaches the reality that the devil is a big loser. JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH already defeated satan 2000yrs ago on the cross of calvary
"Without signs from God we are just religious, and the church becomes a religion. The supernatural manifestations of God are signs that exist so that the world will believe and be saved. That is the reason why the church must have these manifestations in her midst." ~ Carlos Annacondia, Listen to Me, Satan!, p. 128
Carlos Annacondia is an evangelist that God used to start a revival in Argentina. Not only is evangelism done in his crusades, but God has used him to perform signs and wonders as spoken in the scriptures. Some of the signs and wonders that have happened in his crusades include the following:
* Deliverance from demons * Physical healings * Freedom from bitterness * Freedom from the occult, cults and religion * Supernatural protection from enemies, etc.
There were many testimonials woven throughout this book that will inspire those who are encountering any of the above in their lives.
One thing that Carlos Annacondia is experienced in doing is taking authority over the devil, hence the title of his book, rebuking the devil.
Let Carlos Annacondia show you how to flow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and take authority in the name of Jesus!
A great read if you want to understand how the Kingdom of God is supposed to work. I don't agree with all of the items Carlos explains in this book as I have different experience and have received different teachings, but mine are focused on 1-on-1 counseling prayer ministry and deliverance, so it is definitely a good platform and you may have better mileage depending on your situation.
This book is the amazing story of how God used one man to break Satan’s power over a nation. Filled with testimonies and solid biblical teaching, this book is a must read for Christian with a heart for the lost around them.
Se muestra la forma como el cristiano debe de enfrentar a Satanás, tomados de la mano de Dios, y renunciando a los embates del enemigo. Inspirador en la lucha contra las huestes demoníacas
One of the best reads and goes hand in hand of other courses I am taking and I believe in the gifts and authority God gives us. Thank you Jesus for the healing 💗
This book was sent to me sometime back by some new friends from America (Thank you very much by the way. Please do not let my feelings about the book stop you from ever sending another book.), and it took me some time to decide to read it. I was also uncertain about posting this review. I know many people have strong feelings about the devil and the subject of revival. I just have to be myself.
Carlos Annacondia, a Christian leader from Argentina, wrote a book called Listen To Me, Satan! Before I even opened up the book I had issues. I am not big on praying to Satan. After giving it some thought I just could not think of anything I would want to say to him or her or it.
In part one of the book Annacondia writes about his call from God to go and preach the Gospel. Fairly typical Pentecostal stuff. One interesting aspect of the book is that he put in many testimonies from different people. I found them interesting because in many ways they are typical of Pentecostals here in Kenya. They tend to be full of stories of witches, spells, warlocks, demons, and voices in your head. Unfortunately these stories do not feel like the truth. It is kind of hard to explain, but it seems that uneducated people are assuming that all evils are caused by a devil and the supposed Christian leaders are agreeing with them. Just a feeling I have. I have had some experience with these "supernatural" episodes in America and here in Kenya. I can say that the majority of them have nothing to do with God or Satan. They are just people working themselves up into an emotional frenzy and acting out.
In part two we are taught about the signs that will accompany those that believe. I found it interesting that this man has based his entire ministry on a portion of text from Mark that is disputed. There are many scholars who feel that the end of Mark was added by someone other than the original author. His methods of keeping the anointing, or God's power, are nothing new or noteworthy.
Part three is were things go from bad to worse. Several chapters are full of what can only be classified as fanciful stories about demons. He even has two chapters dedicated to demonology, but I did not learn anything. Clearly teaching is not is gift in life.
Parts four, five, and six continue with healing's, miracles, and speaking in tongues. He makes a funny comment about praying or speaking to Satan. Annacondia thinks that if we say the same thing to the devil he will not listen. Now I do not believe Satan is as powerful as Annacondia does, but if I was the devil I would really like people like Annacondia.
Guys like this distract believers from what is important. Satan is a defeated foe folks, we do not battle him by praying to him. We battle evil by doing good. Like feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and visiting those held captive.
The doctrine in parts of the church, which says God worked miraculously in the past but does so no longer seems unable to hold at bay various claims of his present-day power. This book about the life of Evangelist Carlos Annacondia has peppered throughout some of those claims. He has been used by God in Argentina to see thousands come to a saving knowledge of Jesus. Satan's detrimental influences on marital wholeness and physical health are only the beginning of the pains Annacondia teaches believers to take authority over in Jesus' name.
not really as good as i expected it to be. i've heard rave reviews about this book and i was kind of disappointed. there were a lot of stories. a lot of letters written to carlos annacondia. most of the things that were said i already knew just by being a student at north central. but, if you are very new to the evangelical christian world, this would be a good book to start with.
You can't argue with Annacondia, the great Argentinian evangelist, given the success he's had. I'm interested in the retention rate of these souls, but this is a good introductory level book on principality warfare.
This book changed my life and my way of thinking...hm...God knew that I have to read it :) This is an awesome book...I don't find the right words to describe it but I can only say the pages are filled with God's presence and anointing
This is a mixture of teaching and stories from the Argentine revival, which is my style. I love the testimonies of deliverance and of God's power. I especially enjoyed the stories of times when people tried to kill Carlos and fell on the ground or were miraculously prevented from attacking him.
