I tutor many geometry students from various middle and high schools, some in honors and some in regular. It is interesting to see the wide range of expectations between various teachers; some give easy tests and some do not!
For students with the tough teachers that expect students to handle types of problems they have never seen before and do proofs, more than the easy congruent triangle standards, I turn to this book and a variety of online sources.
I know the title says E-Z, but this book does throw a few valuable curve balls. This book does cover the basics, but settles mostly on higher level problems.
Many students freeze up while taking tests brought on by anxiety from problems that don't look familiar. I spend a lot of time helping students look at a big variety of complex problems and how they, the student, can manipulate the problem towards the familiar. For these students, I recommend a wide number of resources including this book.
The answers are in the back and there is a nice glossary.
If you have a student who is struggling with geometry this book will help. It's not as colorful as Everything You Need to Know to Ace Geometry in One Big Fat Notebook, but it is more thorough and speaks more how a teacher would speak, which helps a student transition back to class.
