Teacher-centred, practical and research-based, this collection of articles by Marie Clay draws on her lifelong passion for children's literacy and teacher education and is fully supportive of best literacy practice.
This book has a few interesting tidbits in it but it seems like a lot of common sense and prior knowledge for me. This book focuses more on theory and not practical ideas for everyday classroom use. This was my first introduction to Marie Clay so I hope some of her other books give me oomph.
