What an interesting collection of poems! Kimiko Hahn’s Air Pocket was definitely not what I thought it would be to be honest. The poetry collection touches quite a bit on Japanese culture as well as political elements of the 80s. Some of the poems were much more explicit and vulgar than I had anticipated, but I didn’t mind. Overall, it was an interesting read through! Curious to see how other works by her are.
