The title should be changed to "A Horrible, Gory Death to All Mustangs." It would be more accurate. The main horse's name is Wildfire, for Pete's sakes. How trite can you get. My God, this was awful. At first it seems like a kid's book or a B-Western movie script until the horses start getting shot, skinned, punched between the eyes, ham stringed and having their nostrils stuffed with grass and sewn shut.

I haven't read any other books in the series and after this I will avoid them.
