Deceiver

Rate this book
Casey is a deceiver and has been most of her life. It’s how she operates naturally as a means of concealing who she is deep within and masking the brokenness that lurks beneath her confident exterior. Easily, she manipulates and controls others to achieve her end-game until that church thing happens and until meeting Nikolai, two things that now cause every lie to rest heavily on her lips as she plays the man she has come to love. Will the aftermath of the storm of Casey’s deception and lies be more than their love can withstand?Other books by Unmending the Veil, On 4/19, and Beyond 4/20. Casey has a secret that she cant revival to anyone. especially now that her relationship is blossoming with Nikolai. Now with her tangled in all these lies and scrambling to keep her identity a secret. she easily led others to achieve till the end. Now every lie rest heavily on her lips as she deceives the man she comes to love.
I really liked this book because, it told a story about this girl struggling with her faith and this big secret she has to keep. the moral of the story was to always know that God is with you every step of the way. The author did a very good job on how she told the story and Heaton kept Gods word real in her writing. the author was not afraid to shy away from any dark areas in her book she wanted to tell what its really like.
I would recommend this book to 13 year old and up this book will help people with their faith and if they are not saved it could help them to know God. this book is a good lesson for teens and young adults. It shows to not tell lies and know that God is always with you. for young people it would be too graphic for them to read.

This story is amazing really and appropriate for all seasons of life. The characters are real in that like all of us we are flawed and broken. We all need healing from the Lord God, Lord of the Hosts.

This was beautifully written and was equipped with many lessons that showed character building and gave this book a sense of purpose. Everything just fell into place, like millions of pieces to a totally worth it in the end puzzle.

I loved this book. I love the story and the flawed characters who found redemption and healing. I cried several times over the pain they were in. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable read!

Amazing yet redeeming

I like that this book made faith practical for me, it showed real living that one can relate to, real feelings and all, yet a way to find God without the loftiness of impractical experiences

An amazing and thoughtful book. It deals with child abuse and healing from abuse in a Christian way. I recommend it

All human beings, including all Christians, are flawed, so characters should be flawed as well. These are more flawed than most, but God redeems even the worst sinners. Casey and Nikki did a lot of things wrong, but in the end the truth set them free.
