Scott’s characters are thoroughly developed and feel not only real, but all different in their personalities. In an unfamiliar world, he uses vivid imagery to paint a detailed and excellent picture of everything and every creature. Scott also does a wonderful job of trusting his readers; small clues are left throughout the book for the reader to pick up on as reader tries with Nat and Reya, our protagonists, to figure out what exactly is really going on.
Fantasy is a genre I usually do not read or enjoy. However, this story had me hooked and desperate to finish to solve the many mysteries and see the end to the various plot twists.
This is an awesome read, but then I might be a little biased because I am married to the author, and have read and re-read and worked on a lot of the edits. This is really well put together and well written.
