The vision of the Young Social Innovators (YSI) program is to inspire young people's passion to change the world for good. Inherent in that vision is the belief that every person has the passion, creativity, and energy to make a difference. YSI began as a small pilot program in 2001 and continues to grow and strengthen each year. This independent evaluation study examines the early years of Young Social Innovators, a program that enables young people to realize that they are part of a society and their actions have a real impact on other people's lives.
