Fiona Paxton left Sunset Beach the day she graduated from high school and never looked back. Working as a fashion designer in Los Angeles California is all she ever wanted.Ten years later, Fiona wants more than just money—she wants a caring man. Not one who worries more about how white his teeth are or if his spray tan needs a touch up, than he does about her.Trip Delacruz gave up the big city to settle down in Sunset Beach tending his bees and making honey. One look at Fiona and Trip is hooked. Her chestnut hair and blues eyes sparkle when she talks about the Sunset Beach Resort renovation. He would give anything if Fiona looked at him the way she does at the sunset every night.

WE WERE BROUGHT TOGETHER BY FATE I loved this second addition to the Sunset Beach Romance series. Trip Delacruz and Fiona Paxton were destined to be together. To meet in a traffic jam in LA and then meet again in Sunset Beach on the East Coast. Fiona and her four best friends go back home to their 10-year class reunion and learn that there really is no place like home. Throw in a wild plan to revitalize the Sunset Beach Resort and a new adventure begins. Each friend has left to make a career, but they all realize they need more, a man that loves them. This story is a quick read with a fun cast of characters, witty dialog and heartwarming reunion of friends, old and new. The story kept me captivated and the pages turning with this second chance at happiness and love romance.
This is the second book in this series and I loved it. Again, what a lovely little romantic novella, it built up and whilst yes it was a bit predictable as was the first, it did make me feel warm and cosy when I'd finished it, I think it is really amazing how the different authors have linked their stories to tell the stories from the different women's perspectives. I have just started the third in the series now and I am looking forward to reading them all, they are brilliant characters and I want to know more about them and see how their stories develop. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I received this ebook in exchange for an honest review. This author has a way of creating a perfectly beautiful world and story in just a few pages. And I love it!
This is the 2nd story in the Sunset Beach Romance Series and it's a wonderful addition to the series. One of the features that I love about Books to Go Now series is the joy of meeting a group of girlfriends and then having each story in the series feature the same interval of time or event but with the focus on a different friend and a more intimate look at her life.
In this story, it's time to feature Fiona and her destiny to meet "Truck Guy." Va-Va-Voom! Loved the description with calling Trip "Truck Guy" before Fiona or we as readers learn his name. Fun! I also love the idea of how they meet "stuck in traffic" as from high school days when I was able to hear Rod McKuen reading his poetry, this became my favorite poem of his...
CHANNING WAY, 1
It's always the strangers that do the most damage. The ones you never get to know. Seen in passing cars, mirrored in windows and remembered.
And the others - the ones who promise everything, then go away.
Sometimes I think people were meant to be strangers. Not to get to know one another, not to get close enough to damage the heart made older by each new encounter.
But then, someone comes along and changes all that. For a while anyway.
Still, as the years go by, its easier to remember the streets where it happened than the names and who was the one on Channing Way ?

Well thankfully, Fiona and "Truck Guy" (which instantly sounds so much more sexy than Fiona and Trip) do meet and you'll have to read the story to learn what happens. But just let me tell you two (2) more things before I hurry off to read "Sunset Waves" --- 1) "Truck Guy" is a beekeeper and 2) he knows how to make homemade blueberry muffins.
The author, Sharon Kleve, also shares two (2) wonderful bonus features at the end of this story --- 1) the recipe for the blueberry muffins with a special suggested topping and 2) more information about the fascinating work of a beekeeper which is important for all of us to care about as the nationwide average for beehive losses has been 30 percent each year for the past eight years.* The loss is critical, because bees contribute a tremendous amount to the food supply and the economy.

Do you believe you can go home again? Could it be even better than before? Four best friends agree to return for their ten year reunion, after vowing never to go back. Through the wonders of technology, especially Skype, these best friends are as close as ever and know all of each others' secrets. Fiona is a dress designer for dolls and tired of the L.A. smog and traffic. She has a "close encounter" with a handsome man in a red Ford pick-up, but it seems he is between jobs - NOT what she is looking for. Will fate bring them together under better circumstances? Do her friends have a crazy scheme for rebuilding their lives together again? Written in a glib, almost snarky banter among the best friends, this is both sensual and fun to read. Liv shows us that even successful, wealthy, intelligent women have feelings of insecurity and moments of doubt. The characters are so well written. I got a lot out of this short read. If you read one Sunset Beach adventure romance, you will want to read them all.
Four friends have stayed close since high school, all four left their small town with the desire for success and to leave the small town they grew up in behind them. Ten years later when it is time for four best friends to go to their reunion the are surprised at what the return to home has in store for them. Fionia was tired of all the fake people that were in LA. When she went back to Sunset Beach for her reunion Liv found her happiness and had a crazy idea that the four friends would be the perfect group to buy the old inn and make it into a resort and spa. Before leaving LA Fiona had a gridlock date with a man that she couldn't forget, which made it that much more of a surprise when she runs into him again across the country. Sunset Nights is the second book in the Sunset Beach Series. This is the perfect book for a quick read. Sharon Kleve has teamed up with three other authors to make this series and I am looking forward to the rest of the series.
Such a great novella and it really had me wanting more!!
Fiona Paxton is living in LA and realizing it's not what it's cracked up to be until one day she is sitting in traffic and starts talking to the handsome guy in the truck beside her. Unfortunately for her he drives off and she goes on with her day and plans a trip back home to Sunset Beach for a school reunion with her four best friends.
Trip Delacruz has settled into Sunset Beach as an Apiarist, aka Bee Keeper, and looks forward to the slower paced life and has left the big city behind him.
When the two hook up sparks fly but when they live on opposite coasts they must see what the future holds for them, but when an opportunity comes up for Fiona what will she decide to do with her future?
I really liked these two and I wish that the story could have gone on for so much longer! There was passion and also a realization that they may not be able to be together for long that made it more intense!
What a cute little story about 4 high school friends who leave their little home town in search of their dreams, the dreams of success and love. They are in constant touch with each other and get excited to have received an invitation to their 10th class reunion. Although they vowed to each other to never return to Sunset Beach, they wanted to go to the reunion and show off their successfulness.
This book primarily focuses on Fiona Paxton. Unlucky in love with Zane Hathaway who tried to steal from her, she decided to concentrate on her business. But that mysterious stranger in the truck catches her eye. And then he is gone.
While this is book two in a four book series, I found that jumping into this one did not harm the way the story played out. I do want to read the other 3 now, as well as some of this author's other works.
Sweet and lovely story of finding love back home. Fiona has a successful business in LA but when she is caught in a traffic jam with a handsome stranger her world soon changes. Getting invited back home for her class reunion Fiona and her three best friends enjoy the weekend. They also decide that they all want to move back home and re do an old building that was near and dear to them. Fiona also never expected to bump in to Trip again the mysteriously hunk from the LA traffic jam. After all these years is being back home where Fiona belongs? Can she and her three best friends really all go back to where is all started.
Great Book! This is a great book; this is the second book in the Sunset Beach Romance Series by Sharon Kleve. Fiona Paxton left Sunset Beach when she graduated high school, she is now working as a fashion designer in Los Angeles, California. Trip Delacruz gave up his big city living to settle down in Sunset Beach. When Fiona and Trip meet they can’t deny the attraction. If you are looking for a good short romance then you need to read this book. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
"Sunset Nights" by Sharon Kleve is book two in the "Sunset Beach Romance Series" about four friends that head back to their hometown for their 10 year reunion and find the way they view it to be very different than the town they left behind. This particular book deals with Fiona and Trip, how they meet and how their relationship comes to be. A great short romantic story. I read this one first by mistake but plan on reading book 1 "Sunset Kisses" next. This is a clean romantic story.
Who knows where you will find love. Fiona is stuck in an LA traffic jam, and a chance meeting with a handsome fellow traveler becomes something more interesting when she returns home where she and her friends left with ideas of success in the big city on there mind. But they soon learn that success is closer to home and so is love.
I very nice, gentle, love story, with feisty young women and a handsome young man. A great read.
This is the story of Fiona and her Sunset Beach romance, which picked up events from Alivia's story, Sunset Kisses, well. Details round out this story nicely, and I liked the bee keeper addition, but it still feels rushed. Awfully quick kiss, falling into bed, into love and moving right in, etc, made for an unrealistic story. Not my favorite this time, sorry! *I received an arc for an honest review*
I was so happy to see the series continue. I loved how this book continues on with the Sunset Beach stories. I loved the bee keeping notes at the end of the book and the recipes. I think the story went a little fast, but it is a short story. You do have to read the first book to know the back story of the characters, but since it is available in a single ebook, you can easily keep up with the story.
Fiona and her 3 friends left home with success and love in mind. They never planned on ever going back. When one of them came up with a business idea they jumped on the opportunity.
With success reached the only thing missing was love. A chance meeting with a Bee Keeper could change that.
This was an exciting short read. Fiona goes back to Sunset Beach for a reunion and never expects what happens next. Trip is just trying to find his place in the world and when he meets Fiona things change for the both of them in the fated way. Sharon Kleve did an amazing job with this story and keeping me wanting more.
Sunset Nights is a wonderful romance. Fiona runs a doll dress designing company out of L.A. She meets a hot guy sitting in traffic. Then their paths separate as he pulls off at an exit. She and her high school girlfriends decide to make a trip home and low and behold a huge surprise awaits her. The story is a quick read and has a smooth flow, easy flow to it. It’s a perfect afternoon read.
Short but very "sweet" story. Fiona is tired of her life in LA. She has agreed to start a new business with her friends back in the town they grew up in. But what about love. She met a cute guy in LA but lost the chance to know him. Can she find love when she returns home?
Fiona left sunset the day she graduated & never looked back. She wanted more than one night stands She met Trip & he fell in love with her. Can he make her happy & be the man she needs
Hurricane readers book reviews gave me this book for a honest review
And down there is my bedroom.” He leaned in and kissed me behind the ear. “Would you like to see it?” That was like asking me if I liked wine, chocolate, and expensive shoes. Hell yes. “Since you’re giving me a tour, I might as well see everything.”
I really enjoy Sharon Kleve's books. The two I have read, this is the 2nd, have both been quick reads but have great characters and stories. I look forward to reading more written by her.
