Absolutely amazing! Very helpful in understanding the beliefs of the Baha'i Faith and the message of world peace and unity that 'Abdu'l-Baha truly tried to proclaim. Many proofs and easy explanations that help me understand and articulate spiritual concepts.

Like all the Holy Books, this one is full of spiritual challenge. I can't help but feel that we have not picked up or worked toward meeting many of these challenges in the 111 intervening years, that the world wars, the terrorism, the national pride uber alles and the multitude of prejudices that were targets for eradication in 1912 are now bigger rather than smaller targets.

I feel a little funny assigning books like this stars and reviewing them, but here goes. I've tried to read this book several times in my life, and got stuck every time. This last fall, I asked a friend to read it with me, to help with motivation, and I set a schedule of 50 to 100 pages per week so we wouldn't get stopped.

"No," she said. "This book is not for study, it is for medicine. A little bit at a time."

And she was right. It took me months, but I got through it, reading a couple talks at a time. What stopped me before was how repetitive it is. Of course it's repetitive. He was traveling and giving a bunch of talks, to a new audience nearly every time. He needed to get a basic message across, and it's repetitive. So trying to read too much of it at once it maddening.

But bit by bit, it's medicinal.

To understand what the Baha'i Faith is can be summed up in this book. The recordings of these awe-inspiring talks from Abdu'l-Baha during his travels to the north American continent in 1911. Are to me what i consider the best cliff notes to understanding the message of progressive revelation and unraveling the mysteries of all the previous religions of the past.
