Lonica Wilkes and her best friend, Wren Magpie, think there's no better way to start off the summer than by getting Lonica over her stupid crush on Steven Lero. For years she's been trapped under his spell (unbeknownst to him) and she's finally saying NO by dating other people who are obviously much cooler than he will ever be. But what happens when he figures out she's always had this thing for him? Will she continue to stand her ground or will she end up falling more in love with the boy who always lets her down?

Jayna Ostler has don it again! Once I start her books I can never put them down. Her characters are relate-able and seem more real then most. I found myself going through the story cheering the characters on through there struggles and triumphs and being upset or just pissed off right along with them. A read I would most certainly recommend.

I've known Jayna for going on two years now, and we've been supporting each other's writing ever since. Though we're internet friends, I consider her one of the best friends I have. Her kindness and soul always comes out in her writing, and this is my absolute favorite book of hers.

I stayed up late into the night reading this book, and during certain scenes, I found tears streaming down my face. It hit so close to home for me. I absolutely adored and hated Steven Lero at the same time, but at the end of the day, he's the character that you can't help but root for. I loved Lonnie, too. She's such a genuine soul that gripped me from page one. She reminded me of high school me.

I remember when I first met Jayna, this was the book she was writing. I'm so happy I've finally got to read it. Jayna, please write a sequel to this. Or something. I absolutely adore it. Definitely makes one of my favorite books ever. :)

Have you ever read about a character who can't get over a boy (or girl) and you have to wonder WHY THEY LIKE THAT PERSON IN THE FIRST PLACE?! That isn't the case with Stereo. I found myself crushing on Steven Lero all the while wanting to crush Steven Lero. I rooted for Lonica, wanted her happy ending. Author Jayna Ostler isn't afraid of having characters with flaws, and she shows how even the most frustratingly flawed guy can also win your heart. Find out what happens between Lonica and Steven in Stereo!
