I was not a fan of this super short read. While I absolutely love anything with a Greek Mythology base, this one bothered me. The biggest thing was that they referred to Zeus as Hades' father and that is not correct. If you are going to use Greek mythology get important parts correct especially the Gods family tree.

This book was quite an interesting short story with the intamcy between Hades and Jenna, but it was hard to get over the incorrect facts on the Greek god. I was pulled in by the passion between the two characters and saw a nice twist to how Hades is portrayed. The ending makes me wish there were more, but I find the ending hard to believe since Hades has to run the Underworld

An interesting twist to the Greek myth of Hades/Persephone. I wish it were longer. I'm really intrigued on how their relationship would have developed.

I got this quite some time ago, but somehow I didn't find the time to read it.
Which is a shame as it was very sweet and short.

I was already reading another book and I needed some kind of break (unfortunately it happens to me a lot - I get distracted while reading a book- which doesn't mean I am not enjoying the book, I'm just a Gemini and I have a problem concentrating on only one thing sometimes so I need constant change and stimulation).

Anyways, I liked the fact that it was short and to the point. For me as a Greek, it was really interesting to read because it was based on Greek mythology and more specifically on the story of Hades and Persephone.
[In the myth, Persephone the daughter of Demetra, the goddess of Agriculture and the land, finds herself kidnapped by Hades into his dark domain, he underworld, where everything is gloomy.
A "civil-God war ensues and Hades is forced to let her go, but not before he plays one last game.
By accepting food from the Underworld, Persephone is obligated to remain six months in the Underworld with him every year. This is how my ancestors explained the withering and the rebirth of the land and flora. I was never sure if Persephone actually grew to love the sober Hades, but my romantic heart always saw it that way! XD ]

I actually didn't see that coming, but it was sweet and I am always fond of stories where the man is more certain than the female for the relationship.
Jenna Krinard has just moved into her new house and though, she doesn't know it, there's someone watching her, wanting her, Hades.

It is too short for me to say anything else on the plot, but it was really nice.

Gotta love authors who make stories out of the mythology legends. Hades finally finally finds his Persephone and reunites them only to get her back to the underworld, Persephone has to give her soul up to Hades. Well after Persephone has lived as a human for the last 30 years and has finally got her own house, she is not ready to give up her world to go to the underworld. She wants both so she eats the forbidden fruit and tells Hades by eating the fruit she can spend 6 months a year with him in the underworld without dying and the other 6 months he can live with her in the human world. Great Short Story.

When Hades finds Jenna Krinard in the mortal world, he is convinced that she is the incarnation of his missing wife, Persephone. He has been searching for her for a thousand years and is slowly losing patience. He kidnaps her again as he did a millenium ago and takes her to the Underworld.

Jenna Krinard is just getting her life together with a new job and a new house - one that is truly beautiful to her. Then Hades kidnaps her and she remembers her former life with him. Now, she is desperate to find a way to keep her love and her life together.

I really enjoyed this short story. It was a sweet paranormal romance. I give it an A!

I think this would be a very interesting story if it was turned into a full novel. I felt that because it was so short it was lacking so much story for me. Though I did enjoy what was there.

The sad part is the size, a shame it's so short. The story of Hades and Persephone is beatiful, I love that myth.
It was a fun and sweet read anyway!

It was really short I mean like four maybe five pages but the author had something going. I wish it was longer. Would like to have known how he ran off her suitors. It left me wanting more
