This is a short book (103 pages) written primarily for older children. It originally belonged to my son (who's now in his 20s), but I decided to read it before disposing of it in a process of culling down our book collections. I partly had in mind what I heard about Jeopardy! champion James Holzhauer saying that he boned up on trivia about topics he wasn't familiar with by reading children's books about them! So if you feel like you ought to know more about the Father of Our Country than you do, but don't feel like tacking a 400+ page biography, I do recommend this book. It gives a concise overview of every part of his life, including his childhood and youth, his early military experience, his leadership of the Continental Army during the Revolution, and his Presidency.
