The Fall and Redemption of Man: Selected, Arranged and Rendered into Modern English from the Chester, Coventry, Lincoln, Norwich, Wakefield and York Mystery Plays
This place was constructed as an acting exercise for students of the London Academy of Dramatic Art to perform publicly in their own theatre. The criteria that governed its making were, first that it should work as a play before an audience, secondly that it should provide parts of apporimately equal lenth and importance for the twelve students who were to perform it, and last that the stsudents should learn something of themselves and something of acting by doing it.
