The story revolves around three very different beautiful and vulnerable Lakshmi, from an orthodox Brahmin family, her rebellious brother Raj and the gentle charismatic Kevin from an upper class English family. Their disparate worlds intertwine; shifting, changing and revealing the myriad colours and patterns of life and love leading them to the final and inevitable conclusion.
