This is such a huge game you need it to mop up all the stuff you miss first time round. Weighing in over 400 pages, this has a walkthrough, but as the game can be played in pretty much any order mission wise, I never bothered with this. The value comes from mapping every area, so you can see what you missed, where you should have gone, and what goodies are hiding where.
There are sections on groups encountered, history of the wasteland, people to trust and people to not, plus tons more. It gives you a real appreciation for the depth of the game. Highly recommended.
